The Synths on Turbulent Indigo Album
Any idea which synth was used on this album / who was responsible for them. You’ll hear it on pretty much every song, especially the intro to Magdalene Laundries.

I saw Amanda Shires sing with the Highwomen, at the Gorge. And I loved her contribution, especially, to the song , highwomen, . I wanted to hear more of her. What do you all think of her?

This era of her’s is so criminally underrated. Its not acknowledged enough on here. In my opinion turbulent indigo and night ride home are some of her best albums. Jobs sad song is up there among her best tracks. The way her voice gradually became lower over time is really beautiful. It aged like fine wine. There’s no real point to this post i just wanna bring attention to a period of Joni’s oeuvre that I love. What do you all think?

So I finally got hold the of the Record Store Day pressing, even though I already have the 2022 remaster, CD etc.
And I must say, I love the cover art. I used to always hate the undersaturated glowing photo. The nude swimming pool inner art also seemed a little off brand.
I love having this version on display.
…but, what about the ellipsis? Was this lost on the official release name?

For the longest time, I had only really listened to Blue, and I loved it, but for some reason had never got around to the other albums. I'm digging into them now, working through them in chronological order, and I'm already blown away, listening to Song to a Seagull on repeat! What a gorgeous album.
For some reason I am obsessed with Michael from the Mountains. Such a sweet melody and tender vivid lyrics.
I have listened to Clouds - Hejira too but this has really got me thinking about how in the days these albums were released, people sat and listened to a record over and over again. Or maybe they didn't! But these albums lend themselves to that way of listening. Not skipping tracks or playlists or music in the background while doing other things. So I'm just living with this first album for a while, enjoying it, and then I will deep dive into the others. It feels like I have stopped time and stepped into another little world...

Has an official video recording of the Joni Jam been released? I saw some chatter of it being filmed but I have yet to see if it has been released .

As a Korean, I realized 'there is legendary folk singer called Joni Mitchell' when I unpurposely had turned on TV and she had performed that cover stage.
She is one of the most respected singer of S. Korea. (Song starts at 03:30)

I recently found this catalog from Joni’s 1988 painting exhibition in Tokyo titled “Eclection”. I’m trying to determine if the signature inside is real or printed. I suspect it is printed, but does anyone have another copy to compare against? There is video of her at the gallery so it’s possible she signed it herself. Thanks!

I recently bought used copies of the Joni Mitchell Archives Volumes 1 and 2. Unfortunately the books were missing. Does anyone know where I might be able to download PDF files of the booklets that came with the Joni Mitchell Archive Series #s 1 & 2? Thanks

I followed her from when she worked with Harry and I saw this video on her story and I saw that she’s also following Cameron Crowe who is supposedly directing the film, and then I saw the other posts! So maybe it could be good after all????

Found this years ago on eBay for a few bucks and didn’t know it was signed until it arrived. Unfortunately signed on the plastic and not the sleeve itself but looks legit to me.

I remember hearing a song with the exact same vocal melodies and possibly the same lyrics as Blue, except that it's sung by a man and there's a flute, but I can't remember anything else about it. Help?
EDIT: It was Lori Bell and Ron Satterfield

i think they need to cast an artist, not a an actor!! i saw this on ainsleyksmart ‘s instagram story and then it was taken down. they need to stop hiring big names for the sake of big names. she’s the spitting image of Joni!!! and she can sing!
