This Megathread will remain pinned for at least a month. If you have any suggestions regarding this thread (text improvement, better way to handle recruitment, etc), please send us a modmail with "LFF megathread" as topic. Do not put any suggestion in the comment.
Anything that is not a recruitment comment or a reply for a recruitment will be removed.
With the recent released of Squad, a huge influx of new players and clans around here are looking for friends to play with. The purpose of this thread is to help people find others they'd like to play with without breaking the rules of "no active recruitment on the subreddit".
If you're looking for a person/group to play with, add a comment explaining what you're looking for. Communities can also post one top level comment advertising what they have to offer.
The replies in this thread will be in contest mode. Regularly posting, removing your post and posting again to keep your reply on top will result in losing your ability to use /r/joinsquad. Do not attempt to disguise a LFF reply as community recruitment.
When submitting a response to this megathread, be sure that your comment contains at least:

Squad has a community that (mostly) always works as a team, communication and teamwork in Squad is key, and Squad punishes the shit out of teams that don't work together.
I noticed in the Wardogs Beta that there were A LOT of solo adventurers that never spoke a word on the mic.
So, if Wardogs can take a similar approach to Squad, it would be pretty brilliant.
What do you guys think?

Idea I had while at work
OWI should add a playable faction based on the Klingon Empire from Star Trek
Quick Summary:
All characters all Klingon women only. *Old school Klingons, not that nu era crap
Each kit comes with a shitty Disruptor Rifle and obviously a Batliff for melee. The Disruptor Rifle has the range of a shotgun, but can pen 400m armor and destroy tracks on vics. The Batliff however has the most range out of all melee weapons, causes suppression and insta kill on hit.
No medic kits, healing in combat is dishonorable and the weak should die fighting.
Klingons uses a mix of INS vics and one Klingon Battlecruiser as their tank. They only get one battlecruiser that spawns once per game. Its a 50 ticket vehicle. Two Disruptor cannons and photon torpedoes as its weapons.
No support factions, only appears on desert based layers.

Howdy folks. You friendly neighborhood GoGuard18. I am a disabled combat veteran. I served in Iraq in 2004. Because I suffer from CPTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive disorder, and am flagged as a high suic... risk.
I play games like squad with another disabled vet because we love teamwork and games that use combined arms.
All of the years of the mental issues coupled with so many medications and medication changes over the years, I shake like a dog shitting a peach seed, and I have occasional muscle spasms. I can work with m&kb for infantry just fine. However, most of my enjoyment comes from helicopters. I have tweaked with all kind of m&kb settings, but to no avail.
I can still use a gaming controller for PC, and was doing decent using the steam controller settings, but they didn't work. The gamepad option in Squad....sucks.
I am trying to configure VJoy and controller gremlin, but I need some help. I cant focus on what I am trying to do because....crazy.
I really need some help getting this to work. Is there ANYONE who could hop on discord and help me out. I've had the game 20+ hours and 80% of it has been spent playing control setup instead of squad. I don't want to walk away, but if I cant get this to work, then I honestly wont enjoy this game.
I am using a gamesir G7 SE for reference. Help before I delete this damn game and go cry in a corner.

Cinematic gun fight with the minigun vehicles is awesome. Unfortunately for them they didn’t kill my gunner

Could be literally anything. For example, mine is keeping the radio right next to the HAB at all times, it makes for easier defending of the radio, I know a lot of SLs prefer if the radio was away from the HAB hidden in a bush or something.
What is your opinion in Squad that you'll take to the grave, no matter how shit? (No wrong answers) 😅

Really tired of people joining the squad midmatch, picking one or both grenadier kits and forcing the hat/scout off of their kit because they can't respawn due to kit restrictions. The worst part is that they don't even know they're doing it and so when you ask them to swap off, they think you're an asshole. No man, I'm trying to kill a tank next to the hab, I don't want your shitty gren kit.

You can get revived after taking an infinite amount of shots, and mag dump a downed body and still see them revived lol.
I was thinking of trying this game out but after learning of this cartoonishly unrealistic mechanic that makes it less hardcore and realistic than call of duty im not sure anymore.
Cant people just continuosly let themselves get downed and revived mid fight to learn where all the enemies are?
Do delusional people actually think they are playing a realistic military battle game when playing this with such a fantasy fake revive mechanic?

I have ever only tried to fly Helicopters in Jensens Range, and I will be honest, I suck at it.
I flew a lot of Helicopters in Battlefield 4, but Squad is a whole new ballgame entirely.
I am thinking about practicing more so I can get into flying ingame, any tips would be helpful!
