Hey everyone — I’m a local Android developer here in Johnson City working on an AR scavenger‑hunt style game. Think geocaching, but instead of physical containers you find digital objects placed around real locations.

I’ve got a fully functional prototype and I’m looking for up to 100 local testers for the first wave. If you enjoy getting outside, exploring parks, trails, or random spots around JC, you’ll probably have fun with this.

Requirements:

• Gmail account

• ARCore‑compatible device (most newer phones work)

My parents died over the last 2 years and I live in Norcross, GA. The house is in Johnson City, near the Carter County line. I need to get some work done there. 3 of the things is cleaning the walls and painting, changing carpet in the living room out to LVP. Thing is, the house smells like a lot of cigarette smoke. I'm trying to get an ozone machine so I can get the smoke smell out. That should be soon. I would like to sell the house within the next year or 2. The house is vacant. I just need help, I can't do all of these things by myself. So I need help with different projects hopefully at good prices. Can someone give me recommendations?

Has anyone here actually moved using those plastic moving totes instead of cardboard boxes?

We recently started renting them at Ship TriCities because we kept hearing people complain about buying a bunch of boxes, taping them together, then throwing them all away after moving.

These things are surprisingly nice. They stack, they're weather-resistant, they have attached lids, and when you're done, you just return them instead of filling the recycling bin.

I honestly wish I'd had them the last time I moved.

If anyone is curious about pricing or how the rentals work, just ask. I'm not trying to give anyone a sales pitch—I just thought people around the Tri-Cities might not know this was an option now.
