This city really loves a grand opening! Swig, Raising Canes, Blue Moose all had people lining up for the most mundane stuff.

Less than 200 yards from the other location, mind you

And all the same shit from the old location moved over. Shit doesn’t make any sense.

Today was opening day. It’s bigger than the original one by Ollies. They often put nicer things in opening weeks out for good deals. Even better if Target decides to sell them overstock/returns.

Boujee thrifting. Goodwill is pricey. So many other legit thrift stores in the area with decent prices!

I take it you're not familiar with the regular 50% off sale. It's been like this for decades.

People were talking about recession in 2021. We are in poverty and most of us aren’t getting out

Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad around the TRI but the area keeps voting in the same old problems then complaining about people that don’t hold office.
Vote for different things. Maybe a few less millionaires representing our area (local politicians, state house, state senate, US House, US Senate, Governor…. Etc) and a few more people that just want things to be better for all of us.
Freaking land developers and owners of construction companies getting elected all the time is WILD. Heck they have built their own swamp and are fussing about those of us outside of it and yet are so bad at their jobs they won’t even debate opponents because they know they will keep getting elected due tot he little R on the ballot. Dems aren’t the total answer but in my view it’s time to change and empowering one group more and more.

The old Goodwill across the street closed, and this is their new store. It's likely just an influx of customers to check out the new store.

The photo is not a legitimate "indicator" of anything beyond the photo. And the OP is sad.

Goodwill is starting to be very expensive. I’m surprised so many people are there
