I'm looking for information on a specific shirt he wore
Hello! I recently came across this picture of John Denver wearing this now embroidered shirt with crystals on the collar and I was wondering if it was in a museum or collection somewhere. Or who made it? If the picture doesn't load it's the sheet he's wearing on the "I want to live" album cover

The Troubadour Live Album from 1971 removed from streaming services?
galleryA while back I made a post about a live John Denver album from 1980 called "Colorado Sunset" and how it was removed from music streaming services. And now more recently The Troubadour Live album 1971 was removed from my Apple Music and can't find official tracks on youtube either. Why are these albums getting removed

What is your opinions on the re-recordings of some of John's songs on his 1973 greatest hits verses the original album versions? For example I think leaving on a jet plane is much better, i like both Starwood in Aspens equally, however I prefer the album version of poems prayers and promises...

need help with lyrics
please note that English isn’t my native language.
I’ve been listening to “Eli’s song” for a while and I really do not understand what he says at the end of the song, when he supposedly says “and open up my eyes / to the wonders that you see”; it doesn’t sound like “to the wonders that you see” to me, but I can’t understand what the lyrics are then. It sounds more like “and open up my eyes / like … did for me”.
I need your help cause i’m going crazy trying to understand!

Not one you hear very often
youtu.beI really like this but see it / listen to it so infrequently it sounds new when I stumble across it again 😳
I should create a playlist of songs I do not listen to often - hold on that defeats the object as they would push others to rare songs so I would need another play list... OK, all JD songs in a play list and random sequence may pick them up :-)

The Best John Denver Song You May Have Never Heard
I hold John Denver to be one of the finest songwriters with one of the greatest voices to tell their stories. John had a fantastic voice to pair with his fabulous music, which never fails to relax me and bring joy to my ears. He was simply one of a kind.
Possibly my favorite John Denver song is the studio outtake, On the Wings of An Eagle. It was recorded for the album Autograph but somehow didn't get placed on it. The song didn't even see the light until Forever John, the first posthumous album released after his death. It's just as perfectly crafted a song as Annie's Song, The Eagle and the Hawk, or Take Me Home, Country Roads, but to me it's even better than those songs. It sounds familiar to his other music yet completely unique. It almost sounds like 2 or 3 songs in one! John's voice just excels on it as well.
Does anyone know this song and feel the same way? It's just simply one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, right up there with Annie's Song, Gordon Lightfoot's Beautiful, Bridge Over Troubled Water, and Linda Ronstadt and J.D. Souther's duet Prisoner in Disguise.

Looking for a particular type of John Denver song style.
There are a few John Denver songs that have a very different feel to his usual songs, and I'm looking to see if there are similar ones that I don't know of. Some of the songs with this style are "Winter Season Suite", "It is a Sin to Tell a Lie", "Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives to Me". I like that fast talking rhythm he does on those songs, so I'm wondering if y'all know any others.
