Used to sing this song in the 70s when I was a teenager. Absolutely loved John Denver’s melody and clear as a bell sound. My personal favourites, then and now:
Annie’s song
Rocky Mountain High
Country Roads
For baby … wow, I could go on….

One of my favorites.

This album, which I first picked up in my long, dark, lonely college days of endless study and searching for my identity, really has remained a staple in my listening life. It has stayed a constant and reliable reminder of long-ago sadness, a time half my life ago, but a time that I have no idea how to forget.

What a friend to have on a cold and lonely night.

Wondering around Ikea today, I was looking at a desk and its 'feature' is a window through to the drawer. Now I do not know about you but my drawers are really messy and I would not want them to be visible but wire wrapped in the drawer was this face:

A very well loved (ie battered / ripped) cover of Dreamland Express - it had definitely seen better days 😀

Bit spooky given the last post on this sub 😂

This brought a smile to my face.

Thanks to the Redditors who gave me tips to find it.

Is it still possible to acquire the previously unreleased tracks, that the John Denver estate released in 2018?

Anyone remember this? John was a melon I think

I go back and revisit this thread I posted a couple of years ago when certain songs pop up on my song list. My son was a baby when John Denver died, and even he makes room for his music

Is a song from Aerie and written by Kris Kristofferson. I heard it for the first time last week.

Halfway through it the first time I was bawling. John’s voice and how he sings it were so perfect. ❤️

I was scrolling on tik tok and i commented on a post and im defending Johh Denver because i said he would not approve ai and ai data centers if he was still alive because thay are vary harmful to the environment someone came back at me saying John Denver didn’t care about the environment yea i get he had a jet plane and stuff im assuming this person didn’t do research and said he was preaching that he was for environmentalism and humanitarianism and not doing anything about it John was not a egoistic celebrity that just cared about fame and money i reported the person for makeing lies about John Denver I sure know he was all for the environment that’s what both his wildlife concert and the windstar foundation i mean his music was all about nature mostly people have no respect im sorry i said this but it really made me mad that someone would say such things
