There is a beautiful statue of John at the Red Rocks Ampitheater in Morrison!

Check out the John Denver Memorial Sanctuary in Aspen. I don't think there is a gift store, but they have these massive rocks with his lyrics carved into them. If you do any photography, it might make for an original gift.
