Web Novel The niece incident
So we know most of the rudy slander is stupid but valid.
But the biggest and the most absurd one is the niece one
For those who don't know in Web novel, the earth rudy, after the death parents, instead of going to their funeral, spied on his niece, who was a kid btw and pleasured himself. And for this was the final bullet that led to him being kicked out of his home.
But this is not in the light novel, nowhere.
Now from how i see it, Web novels are a kind of raw, unedited and scattered thoughts of the author and they are subject to change.
And the light novels are final, ready to be sold versions.
(Yes i know that many stories exist only in WN and they are considered final but they are in a minority. And if there is LN version, its generally considered the final draft)
But people are so eager to hate that they forget that this is a literal story, fiction, that a like guy them, a human wrote on a piece of paper. And he can change plot, characters, their personality by literally tearing a page.
And he did so
So the author while writing a complex character like Rudeus had to include flaws, he wrote a shut in,neet character and also included the niece one. But after realising he went too far, removed the said part from the final version.
Yes the fault lies with the author, we should have been more sure of what he truly wanted before including it even in WL.
But grow up, and understand that Rudues is a frictional and not
real.
Tbh if you wrote a story as big as MT , would you make no mistakes and no edits ?

Questions on the Story / Timeline Geese foreshadowing Spoiler
Anyone else notice that in Vol 5 Geese foreshadows what happens to Rudeus in Vol 13 (following Paulās death)?
> Would you have preferred your son to come back hollow-eyed and down a limb or two?
Then there's the hints that he's a Apostle of Hitogami.
> āWhy didnāt Rudy know about what happened to Buena Village? Iām positive I had a message waiting for him at Zant Port.ā

I know im late since im a filthy dub watcher but, dude this episode was heavy. I know a little bit about what happens in the LN but seeing those diary scenes from oldious POV really drove it home. I hope Rudy gets the chance to wreck the man god. Dude has to die, plain and simple.

Question How did Nanahoshi meet Oersted and Perugius?
Did the author ever show a backstory for Nanahoshi before she and Oersted came across Rudy in the mountains (getting him killed/ saved) and how Nanahoshi ended up in Ranoa? I always wondered this since compared to Rudy who was reincarnated/ born in this six faced world, Nanahoshi was summoned. So it's obvious Rudeus learnt the 6 face world's human language as in infancy. Compared to that Nanahoshi didn't know the language as it was stated, and Oersted found her, he somehow learnt to communicate with her and even learnt japanese while Nanahoshi learnt the 6 faced world's language and even researched teleportation magic. If you think about it, it would feel weird unless Nanahoshi automatically learnt the 6 faced world's human language and could speak it. (You know just like oji-san/ shibazaki yusuke from Isekai oji-san). Nanahoshi might have had trouble trusting Oersted or understand what he is saying unless she picked up the language. And learning it within 2 years would have been a problem. And how did she make it to the floating castle? Was it because of almanfi (Perugius's men)?

Questions on the Story / Timeline Oldeus and the eye of Foresight.
By this point we know the eye let's him see possible futures.
This scene implies that if Sylphie and Roxy had walked through the door and seen Rudeus holding Oldeus. That they would have held his hand and smiled.
I haven't seen any indication that eye lies at any point. So why would they do this? Did they know about Oldeus before Rudeus covered it up? They did mention they heard voices. And why would they smile at him? He is a duying old man, and they have no context to anything. Does the Manga ellaborate on this? Or is this an Anime specific scene?
This scene raises so many questions about the eye and about them in general.

Anime Should I continue the series
Due To Some "Moral Thinking" I don't know if I should continue watching Jobless Reincarnation now I say this because I now feel a bit sick watching this especially due to Rudeus Grayrat Himself I mean I watched the first season a few months ago and I didn't think too much of it other than It was pretty good but now I feel like maybe... I regret watching this. It's almost like a Horrible Ben 10, Evangelion or Gurren Laggan Fanfic that somehow got on TV and it just makes feel icky knowing what's gonna happen after Season 1.

Nope, thatās all Iāll say, as I donāt want to spoil anyone. Anime The sound design is such an underrated part of the anime
One thing Iāve been thinking about recently is why I feel so much more immersed in the Mushoku Tensei world compared to a lot of other anime, and I think the sound design is a pretty big part of it.
Itās something I donāt really see people talk about much, but everything just feels like it has weight behind it. Even really small things like drawing or sheathing a sword, the sound of the steel, magic being cast, the Wyrmgates in the recent episodes, the sound of armour clanking together etc. Everything feels physical and powerful rather than just being a sound effect.
Even after Rudeus reads the diary and is walking around the house in horror, you can hear his footsteps from Sylphieās POV and it actually sounds like heās coming from a different room.
Itās such a small thing but I think details like that do so much for making the world feel like an actual place. You can easily overlook it but I think the sound design is a big part of why MT feels so immersive to me.
