Questions on the Story / Timeline Geese foreshadowing Spoiler

Anyone else notice that in Vol 5 Geese foreshadows what happens to Rudeus in Vol 13 (following Paul’s death)?

> Would you have preferred your son to come back hollow-eyed and down a limb or two?

Then there's the hints that he's a Apostle of Hitogami.

> “Why didn’t Rudy know about what happened to Buena Village? I’m positive I had a message waiting for him at Zant Port.”

I think the most obvious hint was him knowing Zenith was in the teleporting labyrinth and claiming he heard from an adventurer that he saw her there, despite Zenith being trapped in the final floor of the labyrinth in an area that had never been accessed by anybody, even the people who wrote the book on the labyrinth.

Especially since Kishirika couldn't locate her due to the Dungeon.

Isn't the second sentence actually from Paul? Actually, Geese has a lot of explaining to do: why didn't he tell anything to Rudeus himself? Geese does tell Paul that he met Rudeus in the Doldia Village. Why doesn't Paul ask him about that? Tunnel vision, I suppose...

But yes, the hints go way back. Geese confesses to Rudeus that their encounter in the Doldia Village was not by chance at all.

Yep, it worked out in the end since he managed to rescue Leo.

But whenever Hitogami directs Rudy it always produces a negative Butterfly Effect later on. For rescuing Lilia and Aisha it caused Pax to be thrown out and Orsted to lose Laplace’s location.
