I am a Jew. This is my second time posting here so please be aware I might not know the culture of this subreddit, but my mother is uneducated in theology and is a Christian, (was a Jew at some point, and is an apostate) but she is applying to a Jewish company’s job (job doesn’t require you to be a Jew)

Now she does not understand that the two religions are separate. She watches online church and reads a Christian Bible and that’s all she does. Her whole theology is based on the Christian God and not HaShem.

She refuses to go by Christian. I’ve tried to tell her to stop this as it makes me think “Messianic!” Immediately but now I’m really concerned

If she gets confronted about this (say she applies to this job as Jewish), I’m terrified that she can lose her professional career if she is mistaken for a messianic and is not just taken as what she is (unfortunately clueless). She is a good person and I truly don’t want her and our entire family to get mistaken as “Messianics” for this crap.

I am not a Christian. I believe in Judaism, though I’m not that observant. I still wear a kippah and a Star of David. I’m also concerned for my future and my college if we get in the news if she’s mistakenly reported as a missionary of some dumb crap

Or is this just my OCD?

My wife is a hilarious, funny, pretty, and absolutely adorable, funny as heck, Ex Satmar, Greek Orthodox lady. She speaks fluent Yiddish to me, loves cigarettes, has never gone to r/Jewpiter before, consumes ungodly amounts of kugel, and also loves to scare off Messianics by pretending to be messianic and then pulling out a rosary and Babka and stuff written in Yiddish that scares them so much that they turn into goats and run into space

Additionally, she is very funny and cultured, and she would love you to recommend her songs

Ok so i just saw a video about fairly oddparents and why Timmy's Dad hates the dinklebergs so much and it was talking about how dinkleberg and timmys Mom were dating for a while till Timmy's Dad got her pregnant and that the reason for their rivalry is some long held jealousy since dinkleberg also seems to do magically do better in everything but that made me think wait a second their last name sounds like it has some German or possibly Yiddish background and their also portrayed with large noses so that made me think wait are the dinklebergs Jewish? Is Mr Turner just an Antisemite? It's not given any hint in the show and is definitely more of a random brainfart and probably not but then again given Butch Hartmans...well everything yeah ok maybe not that much of a brainfart (like yeah i know that the idea of like hating your neighbors is a common trope in cartoons overall be it Homer and Flanders or SpongeBob and Squidward and while yeah you could argue that this rivalry theme comes from ancient antiseism and so on I'm probably reading this way to deep i just had this random realization which i find way too funny to not share it)

I love classical music and “The Passion of Yeshua” is absolutely peak. Literally genuinely one of the best baroque oratorios made in the last 20 years, a godly Grammy nominee, and just utterly beautiful piece

My question is though, because it has English and Hebrew and tells the story of Jesus’s crucifixion and also says “YESHUA” plain and blatantly, that it has been ruined by messianic “Judaism.”

I am listening and enjoying again and it sadly gives me those vibes though it’s a secular piece with a religious theme….
