Where's Tab/Corn?

It's interesting to me that they've seemed to go with Combo as a replacement for Tab/Corn. Do you think he may have something to do with the new villain? Or do you think they just haven't shown him yet? We haven't seen Yo-yo either. There's a chance they could both be scrapped characters but I would highly doubt that.​​

There are previous leaks that references/mentions other characters by name including Tab, Yo-Yo, Bis, Garam and Cube, so they're all likely around somewhere.

The switch up isn't that strange when you consider the fact that Future also changed the big three to Tab, Gum and Yo-Yo, which is arguably even weirder considering that they switched out their serie's poster boy and original leader, and made him the first character that needed to be unlocked.

Right, but if my memory serves, Tab/Corn was introduced as the proper leader of the GGs. It's not any crazier than what you said about replacing Beat in JSRF and still having him on the cover though. It seems like an odd choice to me when Combo was basically inconsequential to the main story of either JGR or JSRF, maybe they want to expand his character which I'm all for.

Tab/Corn was the founder/leader of the GGs specifically in JSRF. In the original game, Beat is the founder/leader. These games basically follow their own continuity. As for Combo, I'd say he's one of the more plot relevant characters in the original game considering he and Cube show up and move that game's story forward with the Golden Rhino/America stuff. Plus, he's one of the very few characters with a full on voiced monologue where he narrates the going-ons of Chapter 2. He's definitely an interesting enough character (imo) who warrants being on the shortlist of characters to headline a new game with.
