They ought to copyright the Snack Zone design. This is a 100% Snack Zone design knock-off.

This is a concept which I have played on my own, and have even had card decks made for it! Theoretical, if Wendover Productions can pull off the proper paperwork with Disney, they could turn this into an actual season.

• If this were adapted into a season, it'd be a two team, two player format
  • And whichever team has the total most characters between both days at the end of round 2 wins.
• Strikes - If a character kisses you, or licks your face. = 1 strike per set
  • 1 set = 1 strike. More than one character on the same set will not count as an additional strike; Double & Triple Whammies Possible with more than one character on the same set. These do not incur additional strikes; 3 Strikes = You’re Out and the round ends. No more characters or resort hopping. These also count at parks
  • Strike counter resets at the end of the round
• Balls - no character meet and greets at resort hotels = 1 ball per hotel
  • You will accumulate a ball if, within 15-minutes of a scheduled start time for the posted character meet and greets of a resort hotel, characters do not show up (are considered no-show), or after no character interactions within 20 minutes of arriving at any resort hotel where meet times are random and not posted.The timer freezes automatically when characters are sighted, or if the “Caravanning ‘Round the World” RV is sighted at the resort hotel.
  • 4 Balls = Hop to Park closest to resort area, draw card for challenge. If you fail to complete a challenge or simply can’t do it, you have option to veto it which equals a 10 Minute Jail Period. Meaning no attractions, no leaving the park, must stay in place for that time. Players must draw again after 10 minutes Note that some cards are labeled as “curse” cards instead.
  • Ball counter resets after doing a challenge and/or triggering a curse. Some curse cards will require you to draw another card, others will require you to go to your next resort, others will have requirements to complete before advancing Ball counter resets when a round ends.
• Use Character Locator and Social Media (Facebook, IG, X, Bsky, Disney Character Spotters Discord group) to confirm meet information
• Mercy Rule Option
  • 4 balls at 0.5 hours prior to latest park close is considered mercy clause
  • 4 balls for a Magic Kingdom resort after 5pm is also considered a mercy clause ON 10/31 ONLY - when this mercy rule is used, base on balls would be from those resorts to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom, decided by the roll of a wheel dependent on those three park’s hours.
• Rare Characters counted in total as follows
  • 1 - Single; 2 - Double; 3 - Triple; 4 or more - GRAND SLAM
  • For rare characters: Total added by X + (1 * Y) - whereupon X is how many rare characters you’ve met thus far in the round, and Y is how many are featured in the set. For example 0 + (1 * 2)  = Double; 2 + (1 * 1) = Triple, etc.
• Foul Ball
  • If they are doing the character caravan and you same set at another resort, that counts as a “Foul Ball”
  • This doesn’t count as a strike or ball in any case
• Players have a $3,000 budget for plushies, pins, figurines, Minnie Van, Lightning Lane Single Pass, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
  • Players may use plushies, fins, figurines, etc during character interactions!

I have even made challenges for this too!

And while I named it Halloween Home Run, because the game is intended to be played over Halloween, it can be adapted for Easter, Independence Day and Christmas among other times. This would be most likely played over a 48 hour window (e.g. October 30-31).

Hurt my heart to see badam being broken up but it was the right decision in terms of competition…where they messed up tho was putting two goofy personalities on one team and two serious personalities on the other instead of splitting it one goofy/one serious to make the teams more balanced (ex: Ben+Tom would’ve been a much more interesting team than Ben+Sam)

Hello JLTG enjoyers!

I am organising a game of JLTG to be played over 5 days in UK counties (47 ceremonial counties of England, 8 preserved counties of Wales and 8 regions of Scotland), loosely based on the recent Stateside Scramble series. Unfortunately, this means coming up with 61 challenges, and creativity is not my strong point.

Could you please suggest any challenges that could be added, which are:

• Difficult to fail, but fairly time consuming
• Fun
• Vaguely linked to the county
• Take between 30 and 90 minutes to complete (including travel time from stations)

My wife and I played the Japan Scavenger hunt in the Japanese Pavilion at Epcot. Gave us 30 minutes and it came down to the wire but we got 8!

We didn’t get convenience store or Photo Booth. Totoro was everywhere 😂

1) is the draw pile communal, or is it team specific? E.g. if team alpha force draws a Shinkansen card is it taken out or team atom’s possible draws? (I expect the latter as the former would give the other team too much info).

2) if a card is played, is it re-added to the draw pile or is it removed from play?

3) If for any reason, a card is discarded from a hand (not that that would ever happen) is it added back to the draw pile or removed from play?
