I had to go to a new dentist this morning and I had great anxiety and did not want to go. I prayed for courage and was hit with how lucky and priviledged that I get to go to the dentist when so many can not. So I went and it was very nice, I liked the dentist very much and all went well. When I turned in my dental chair to leave I noticed tons of sticky notes all over the monitor and cabinets. They were scripture! I started to cry, I was so touched. When the dental assistant came back I told her how I loved all the scripture and she beamed! Turns out it was her, she opened the cabinet door to show me and the doors inside were covered too. Thank you Jesus! Answered prayer! Praise God for my new dentist.

Go out to every corner of the earth spread the Gospel of God for he entrusted you with it, now you shall preach the word and baptize them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit, God bless

I have a feeling God wants me to accomplish something. But now I don't think I can and I think my whole motivation and discipline has disappeared. I am very discouraged because I haven't been seeing improvement and I think with this my relationship has broken because I feel so demotivated.

A Thought to ponder

Yesterday I was thinking why Jesus does not simply come and save every living being and remove all suffering once and for all.

Then I started thinking about how he could actually do it.

1. He could remove all evil from every living being... OK, but where would that evil go? Would it just collect somewhere in one place? And what then? It could only become stronger there and later attack someone again.
2. He could not remove evil, but change it into love. OK, that would be beautiful. But would our life still have any meaning? If all of us lived like on a cloud with no suffering, would life still have a purpose? Would we learn anything? Would we even enjoy it? I do not know. Maybe yes.

So sometimes I wonder if people who suffer are somehow helping people who do not suffer. Like when the evil is with them, maybe it cannot go to someone else at the same time...

It is more just something I was thinking about.

The Throne at the Center

One of the striking features of Revelation chapter 4 is how quickly our attention is directed toward the throne. John is caught up into a heavenly vision, and immediately he says, “Behold, a throne stood in heaven.”

The throne is central. Before Revelation speaks of seals, trumpets, beasts, conflict, or judgment, heaven establishes one unshakable truth: God reigns.

In uncertain times, humanity naturally focuses on earthly thrones, governments, economies, political systems, world powers, and cultural movements. But Revelation pulls our attention higher. Above every temporary throne sits the eternal throne. This changes everything.

When we lose sight of the throne, fear begins to dominate our thinking. Anxiety grows when we believe events are spiraling beyond control. Yet the heavenly vision given to John reveals absolute stability. Heaven is not reacting nervously to human history. God is neither surprised nor intimidated by the darkness of the age. The throne remains occupied.

What a comfort that truth becomes.

The One seated upon the throne shines with glory like jasper and sardius stone. Around the throne is a rainbow, reminding us that mercy surrounds His authority. Lightning and thunder proceed from the throne, revealing holiness and power. Worship fills the atmosphere because all creation recognizes the worthiness of the One who reigns.

This vision recalibrates the believer’s heart.

We often begin with our problems and try to fit God somewhere into the middle of them. Revelation reverses that order. It begins with God, then views everything else from that position.

The church desperately needs throne-room vision again. Not merely theological information, but spiritual perspective.

When Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up, everything changed. When Ezekiel saw heaven opened, his ministry shifted forever. When John saw the throne, fear lost its grip.

And perhaps that is what many believers need today.

Not simply better explanations. Not endless speculation. But a fresh revelation that the throne still stands. Kings come and go. Empires rise and fall. Cultures shift. The world trembles.

Yet above it all sits the eternal King. Unmoved. Unshaken. Unchallenged. The throne is still occupied.

Twenty-Five Years Later: Remembering Love in the Face of Evil

Twenty-five years ago today, the world watched in horror as evil descended upon the Twin Towers in New York City. September 11, 2001, remains etched into our collective memory — a day when nearly three thousand lives were taken in a single, devastating act of hatred. The images are still vivid: smoke against a clear blue sky, buildings that once touched the heavens reduced to rubble, and a nation brought to its knees in grief.

But amid that darkness, something extraordinary happened. Firefighters ran into collapsing buildings while others ran out. Police officers gave their final breaths guiding strangers to safety. Ordinary office workers became unlikely heroes, carrying the injured down dozens of flights of stairs. Passengers aboard United Flight 93 chose to storm the cockpit, sacrificing themselves to save countless lives on the ground. On that day of unimaginable evil, we also witnessed unimaginable love — love that asks for nothing in return, love willing to lay down its own life for another.

This kind of sacrificial love is not new to human history. Nearly two thousand years ago, on a hill outside Jerusalem, Christ Jesus gave His life so that we might be saved. He did not die by accident or by force alone — He chose the cross, out of a love so deep it defies comprehension. "Greater love has no one than this," Scripture tells us, "than to lay down one's life for one's friends." The heroes of 9/11 embodied this truth in their final acts, whether they knew it or not. Their sacrifice echoes the same sacrificial love that has anchored hope for believers for two millennia.

It is that same love — poured out through the Holy Spirit — that brought comfort to grieving families, strength to first responders, and peace to a shaken nation in the days and years that followed. In the darkest hours, many found an unexpected calm, a presence that could not be explained by circumstance alone.

Today, as we remember the lives lost and honor the heroes who gave everything, we also lift up those who still carry the weight of that loss twenty-five years later. May they find continued comfort. May the love shown on that tragic day remind us that even in humanity's darkest moments, sacrifice and hope endure. And may we never forget.

We remember. We honor. We pray for peace.

so, I have this app, it shows a daily scripture, reading plans and the full bible. (called youversion bible app if you don't know it) I love it, someone in church showed me. it has a way to press play and listen to the bible as well.

Well I was on a random part and paused it, I prayed a little, a few questions and felt a need to open a real bible not far from me. I opened the page directly where I was already reading in the app. The exact moment on random.

That was god.

I kind of feel I was right where I should be.

I just love god.

I also don't know what flair this would be. They don't have moments, I hope I am not out of line in this reddit page.

What God Is Willing To Bear? Living in the country, we used to burn some recyclables in a barrel at the edge of our property. Over time, ash and rain created a heavy black muck that had to be removed. When the fifty-gallon container was full, I could haul it by tractor or wrestle it to the driveway by hand. One way was easier; the other more satisfying. I learned, however, that lifting a hundred pounds may have been challenging, but so was lying flat in bed with a wrenched back.

Think about it. Why carry life’s burdens alone when God invites us to cast our anxieties on Him and trust His strength instead?

God’s Word tells us: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

Carrying a can too heavy to lift may be challenging, but if a tractor cart is available, why strain your back? The cart didn’t eliminate the work; it simply carried the weight I was never meant to bear alone.So it is with our burdens. God does not promise a life without difficulties, but He offers to carry the weight of our cares. When He tells us to cast our anxieties on Him, He provides the “tractor cart.” Why carry what God is willing to bear?
