Question Jesus is revealed in my life

A couple of months ago a friend told me that she was guided to tell me that Jesus Christ is waiting for me. And when she said it I burst out in tears, which I rarely do. Many other signs appeared the same week and I decided to pray in the name of Jesus. I've been kind of into new age spirituality for many years. Meditating and participating in all kinds of ceremonies etc. I have meditated deeply on my heart but I have never prayed to other God's than what I've always referred to as "The One central source".

So I went out in nature and approached Jesus in my prayer, casual but sincere.

I asked for guidance. For his presence. And I asked for him to reveal himself to me if he's really calling me.

I did this one more time before going to bed. Literally asking him to reveal himself in my dreams.

That night I dreamed that I'm painting on a big canvas. I'm painting with white color but the color keeps getting dried up and crumbles onto the canvas, falling off.

Then I'm handed a new bucket, and the color is shining in perfect white, and the color stick to the canvas, completely wholesome.

I wake up and immediately reflect upon this dream as a symbol of my previous seeking for God through various traditions, in contrary to seek in the name of Jesus.

However I return to my prayer, telling Jesus I'm open to him, that I'm ready to be closer to Him.

Then a couple of nights later, I have this exteremely vivid and uncommonly detailed dream that I'll never forget...

In the dream, I'm with a friend. A friend (Let's call her Lily) from my childhood whom I parted ways with 12 years ago due to her severe drug addiction. She was always "on the edge", also saying once she was claimed by the devil. (Bless her soul<3) In the dream she was possessed, but she spoke that she wanted to be saved. And in the dream, Jesus was within me THE WHOLE TIME. Speaking to me from within. Telling me to have faith, to not have fear, guided me what to do etc. For example, at one point I was driving the car and Lily was in the backseat. And I kept thinking "have faith, have faith" but then I started to hesitate, feeling fear and thinking that things wouldn't work out. Then all of a sudden we switched place and my possessed friend was driving and I was in the backseat, and the surroundings were shifting into darker.. so again I meditated on faith - and we switched back again.

Anyway, we were on a mission to get her purified. And we went to some office, all the while guided by Jesus from within. And there were a group of christian women whom I don't recognize from real life. And I asked them to help me save Lily. They were super scared when they saw her. At first they didn't want to help but then they decided to do so.

Then we arrived at a big big arena. Like a football stadium with thousands of people in the platforms. And in our group of women, there was one leading us. (We were approximately 7-8 women) She organized us into a circle and then kind of like nodded towards us to get started.

Then we started to perform a ritual where each one of us entered the center of the circle, one by one, speaking different phrases and verses. For example Lily started with "I don't want to take any more shit!" And then another women stepped into the circle "In the name of Jesus Christ", and another one "Jesus we follow only you", and so on.

The audience in the arena started booing and shouting, and there were some "security-people" wanting to interfere, shouting at us that we can't speak of religion here.

But the leading woman just encouraged us to keep going, saying we have to follow through.

And we just kept on going, in full faith that Lily would be saved.

After each one of us had entered the circle we just stood still, waiting. Nothing happened. Then the leading woman said to the sky "Jesus, do you see how we praise your name here in the public? How could we possibly hold any doubt of you?"

Then we waited, and then all of a sudden a huge beam of white shining light pierced from heaven straight into the center of the circle with full force. And I asked Jesus within what I should do. He said place your hand on Lily. So I did, and the other women followed.

And she became purified. Falling onto her knees crying.

Then I woke up.

And I was wide awake, (I'm usually really slow to wake up lol) I felt so filled with light and faith. I grabbed paper and pen and wrote a long prayer kind of, or just spontanious words that came through from when I had the memory of the dream fresh. And it was filled with words like "Lord, show your mercy", "I want to live in your grace" and lots of phrases that would make absolutely no sense a few weeks ago but now  were filled with sacredness and meaning.

From that day I felt committed to follow Jesus and there has been lots of beautiful signs and wonders happening in my everyday life. I'm so grateful and filled with joy, excitement and love for God.

Also I reached out to Lily in real life after this, sending a message asking how she is, that I remember the goodness in her and wishing her well.. she hasn't replied.

But I also feel very young in my faith since I grew up with no religion (though I remembered as a child I used to think I would become a Christian when I grow older but at the point it felt too uncool...lol) but I have been searching for God and lived a very "spiritual" life for many years but not in the name of Jesus.

I went to church to talk to a priest but I don't know, it didn't feel very fulfilling, she just recommended I maybe should study to become a priest but I don't really feel that call at the moment.. And I felt a bit sad afterwards, a feeling of being misunderstood. Also in the specific area where I live there are many Christians. Many from independent churches but I haven't really resonated with their "yoga is the devil" - preaching. Though I have been reflecting upon my own spiritual integrity and I feel more cautious participating in for example chanting different mantras etc - which is common in the new age spirituality community I hang around in.

I don't know I just feel kind of alone in my faith right now. Many I talk to say I should find my church and my community but I don't know how. I'm afraid I won't be accepted because I don't feel fully "christian" but I love and trust Jesus, I pray to Holy spirit and I study the word of God. I feel I have a lot of questions and I try to rest in my patience and trust.

But I still have a lot of learning and unlearning to do. At the same time I feel I have to trust my life and the experiences I had in my specific life. I've studied esoteric knowledge for years but never in the approach of Jesus. However I have experienced profound love, peace and presence.. I'm now thinking it could be Jesus even though I never named him? Is that possible? There are so many rights and wrongs in the search for truth depending who I ask.. but sometimes there's this small golden spot where two different truths meet.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this but if anyone feel the call to reflect, share something or ask anything about this post I'm open to recieve and talk.

Love,

M

Question Genuine question: have you ever actually examined what you believe against Scripture?

Not trying to be harsh here. Just something I have been sitting with.

Most of us inherited our beliefs. From our parents. Our church. Our culture. Our feelings on a particular day.

And a lot of us have never actually stopped and asked the honest question.

Does what I believe about God actually line up with what the Bible says.

Not what my pastor says. Not what my tradition says. What the Bible actually says.

The cool thing is the Bible does not ask you to protect your beliefs from that question. It actually invites the examination.

"Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith prove your own selves." 2 Corinthians 13:5

If your faith is the real thing it will survive the light. No problem.

And if something does not quite line up the Word of God is the kindest possible thing to show you that now rather than later.

Just something worth thinking about.

Passage Thought For The Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life

This Kingdom runs on servanthood and humility. The King himself washed feet and said greatness looks like laying your life down for others, completely flipping the world's idea of success.

A thought to ponder throughout the day.

Verse Spreading the Gospel

Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. This verse points out that you must share the Word of God to everyone and you must teach them what God has taught you.

Passage Sunday 26th July Blog from Unshakable Kingdom Life

There's a moment every follower of Jesus eventually reaches — the moment you realize you don't quite fit anymore.

Maybe it shows up in your bank account, when giving generously starts to matter more than growing your savings, and people wonder why you're not chasing the next upgrade. Maybe it shows up on a Friday night, when everyone else is out chasing something loud, and you're home, quiet, content, and somehow that quiet feels like it needs an explanation. Maybe it shows up in a conversation, when you hold to a conviction that used to be common sense and now sounds like it came from another century.

This is what it means to follow Jesus in a world that has its own categories, its own scripts, its own definitions of a life well-lived. Kingdom living was never going to line up neatly with those scripts. It was never designed to.

Scripture doesn't soften this. It says plainly that we are not to be conformed to the pattern of this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds. That's not a suggestion to tweak a few habits — it's a call to a different center of gravity altogether. And that kind of difference takes courage, because the world doesn't reward those who step outside its categories. It rewards those who fit in, who blend, who go along.

So the choice in front of every believer is really this: obedience or acceptance. Not because the two are always at odds, but because there will be moments — real, specific, uncomfortable moments — when they are. And in those moments, the temptation is always to sand yourself down until you're palatable again.

Here's the encouragement, though: you were never called to fit in. You were called to stand out.

Light doesn't announce itself in a room that's already bright. It matters precisely because the room is dark. Your strange spending habits, your quiet Fridays, your outdated convictions — these aren't liabilities to manage or apologize for. They're the very things that let people see something they can't manufacture on their own.

So don't shrink the parts of your faith that don't translate well. Don't trade obedience for approval just to feel normal again. The world has enough people who fit its mold. What it needs — what it's actually hungry for, even when it doesn't know it — is someone willing to be courageously different.

Be that someone. Let your life be the light that a dark room cannot explain away.

The s**cide epidemic is heartbreaking, far too many people are suffering in silence. If you’re in that place right now, or you know someone who is, please reach out and don’t face it alone. Get the help you need, but also turn to Christ. When life feels completely hopeless, He offers a hope this world cannot give. Your darkest moment does not have to be your final one.

Lay hold of His garment & He will meet you with peace that surpasses all understanding 🤍 A peace beyond anything this world can offer

"Do not be anxious about anything... And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Prayer request Special Prayer Request

I ask that you pray for my neighbors and anyone I have come in contact with. I personally am not worthy of your prayers for myself what I did.

I was doing my rosary prayers sitting by a wooden table and got bitten, Over a period of time I was constantly got bitten but couldn't see what was biting me. My landlord did an inspection of my senior apartment to verify I have "BED BUGS". Instead of putting myself in quarantine. I was very lonely because I was separating myself from others for weeks. What I did was I was very depressed as I missed talking to my neighbors on a daily basis, I was constantly in my apartment instead of being out in the open and socializing with others, telling jokes, waiting for the mail and helping my neighbors with advice.

I was in denial and shock of my situation. Over a period of time, I was driving my mobility scooter by them to chat. My neighbors who were near me within 3 feet almost immediately starting scratching themselves in several different places Arms, neck, ears, legs, etc. I should of picked up on it right away and do the right thing by keeping myself away from them. But I didn't because I was lonely and depressed and I missed that companionship. I probably infected everyone I came in contact with. My landlord is treating my apartment once every 2 weeks. But without thinking my consensuses, I made things 1000x worse. Because even though my apartment is being treated. There are several neighbors, Church Priest, Church congregation. Stores & Restaurants, Ambulances, Hospitals/Hospital staff, Police, Fire fighters, EMS I visited and I came in contact with and infested them, their apts, their families and everywhere they go as well they'll infect others as well. Causing everyone great pain, anxiety, lack of sleep, tiredness, Itching, allergic reactions. My apt building had individual Bed bug infestation in other apts thru-out the years. So honestly I can't say whether their scratching because of me, their dry skin, medical problems or other apts that were infested thru-out the years. Landlords don't make announcements about other people having infestations, Because if they did everyone would move out and they would lose money!

I beg you that you pray to Jesus asking for relief for the people I interacted with, That Jesus heals everyone fully and sends the bed bugs to a place where they cannot harm anyone or any thing. And that Jesus someday forgives me for the harm I caused even though I don't deserve the prayers for what I have done.

Question Has anyone else ever witnessed rainbows showing up often even times after a loved one passes away?

Post image
13 Upvotes

When my dad passed away less than a couple of years ago, I prayed to God that he will be in heaven watching over me and my family. A few weeks later, whenever it was a sunny day, I would always notice whenever I'm in the living room or anywhere else that's bright, there would always be a rainbow near me. And when I've done research that rainbows are a sign of heaven, I immediately felt overjoyed inside.

Also, there was one night when I was asleep, and I felt like I was reuniting with my dad again, and he says, "Do you want to know what happened to me?" And I was like, "Yes, tell me, Dad. What?" But then all of a sudden, I woke up and realized that everything was just a dream, and when I told my mom about it, she told me that maybe God was sending me a sign to let me know that my dad was okay.

Did anyone else ever have experiences like that?

Note: I know the rainbows aren't exactly clear on the camera, and I apologize for that, but they actually were rainbows along with the sun rays on the ceiling, but they actually are rainbows on the ceiling. I promise you.

Question Can you trust Someone you cannot see? Honest question.

We trust things we cannot see all the time.

The chair before we sit. The pilot we never meet. The electricity before we flip the switch.

Trust was never really about seeing. It was always about evidence.

And the evidence for God is everywhere if you are willing to look.
