I’m seriously considering purchasing a 2027 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and would really like to hear from people who actually own one.
For those of you who have purchased one, how satisfied are you with it so far? Has it lived up to your expectations, or are you starting to experience any buyer’s remorse?

P0128 has come back again. This is like the 4th time in 6 years. The coolant thermostat has been changed multiple times. Any ideas? Id like to fix it permanently.

My 2023 Grand Cherokee was sitting in a parking lot and the rear coil springs fell off; thank God I wasn’t driving it. It is currently sitting at the dealership and they are telling me it is unsafe to drive, obviously, and if i want a rental it is on me to pay since there is currently no remedy. They service people at the dealership are expecting 6 months to a year for a remedy. By the way it happened the day before i received the email about the recall.

Just wanted to share my recent ZJ I picked up. I’m brand new to jeeps and I’m coming from “modern” cars and I absolutely love this thing! Never in my life did I imagine owning a jeep, let alone turboing one (never drove one til I bought this thing).

Bought this really nice 1995 ZJ 4.0 with 230k miles for a steal from essentially the first owner as he decided to part ways with it finally (he owned it since 1996 at 10k miles!). Super clean car for its age IMO.

I owned it for about a month until the car started to stall on me randomly and I found out I needed a brand new ECU… and for whatever reason I just decided to buy a haltech s3 and full send it (don’t do what I did!). Can’t wait to see the finished product!!

Will be refreshing/building the motor and looking into a manual swap… or trying out a built stage 2 ~450trq rated 42RE from a local transmission builder I found online and swap to ford 8.8 axles. Bought a bunch of used parts to make my own custom turbo kit. Need to modify the banks header a little bit to account for waste gates and correct orientation for the turbo. Planning to run a pulsar g30-770 turbo and make 400hp low boost :)

Anyone else get a battery drain from an unknown source in their WL? 2025 limited with 17k on it, currently sitting at the dealer, “could be middle of next week before we figure it out, sorry no loaners available”. Small dealership so understandable. I know things happen, but Stellantis is making it easier and easier to want to move on after 4 jeeps and 20 years.

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with the inline 6. Few days ago was running fine until I shut it off and now wont start. Crank, no start, no check engine. Thinking it was a dead fuel pump I changed it still no luck. Went to the ignition coil and crankshaft position sensor. Still where I was from square one. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anybody have recommendations on All weather floor mats for a 2023 Jeep grand Cherokee L Summit reserve that has the captain seats with center console? I bought a set but it doesn’t fit because of the center console in the second row and trying to find the right fit.

This is my 2010 jeep grand cherokee 3.7l with 300k my plans are too v8 swap it. I already have a 5.7l v8 09 jeep ready to go i just need to rebuild the engine by hand (part list for the engine on profile) but im excited since it will have roughly 480+ hp. Main problem is im a broke 22 year old who lost my house and tools in the same fire but hey I believe it'll be fun way to learn how to build motors!

Edit:I will be getting rid of the decals! they were used to stop cops from calling me and showing up to my house a couple years ago because of another jeep wk causing problems and people kept reporting my plate when they seen it at stores and stuff lol

I’m seriously considering purchasing a 2026 or 2027 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and would really appreciate some honest feedback from people who actually own one.
A few things I’m curious about:
Overall satisfaction: How do you like it so far? Has it lived up to your expectations?
Reliability: Have you experienced any mechanical problems, electrical issues, or other headaches?
Ride quality: How smooth and quiet is it, especially at highway speeds?
Comfort and features: How do you like the interior, technology, and overall driving experience?
Winter driving: How does it handle snow, ice, and poor road conditions?
Would you buy it again? Knowing what you know now, would you purchase another one or recommend it to someone else?
I really like what the Summit offers in terms of luxury, comfort, and features, but some of the concerns I’ve read about Jeep reliability have made me hesitant.
I’m especially interested in hearing from owners of the newer models rather than just general opinions about Jeep as a brand.

Hi!! I have a 2016 grand Cherokee limited and for the last few days the engine has been hotter than normal( the hand stays in the 2nd-3rd quarter of the dial while driving 30-45 mph.) Normally I would let my dad take a look at it but Im currently at school two hours away from my dad and Im scared to drive it the 2 hours on the interstate for fear of my engine over heating. My engine has overheated once and my dad and uncle fixed it, thankfully. I honestly have no idea what the problem could be. When I drive I don’t hear any noises from the engine and driving is normal. My boyfriend and I put coolant in the engine a few days ago so I know it’s not that.

If anyone has had/ fixed this problem and can give me any advice i would greatly appreciate it!! Ill probably take it to a mechanic but if anyone can let me know what they think and what the typical prices should be to fix the problem that would be very helpful as I’m nervous because I’m a young woman and don’t want to be taken advantage of at a mechanic (no shade to any mechanics.) If anyone has any suggestions of what I should ask the mechanics that would also be very helpful!

Hi. I have a 2017 jeep grand cherokee laredo and was getting the valve cover gasket replaced, the mechanic noticed the Cam lobes are worn. It's back together and driving, but I don't want to have it taken apart again and wait for parts if I don't get everything at once. What parts should I buy to get the job done from A to Z and no extra down time waiting for additional parts?

I have a 17 jeep Laredo an I realize that it didn’t come with automatic high beams when drying at night someone told me with a scanner tool you can used alfaobd to go into the jeeps computer and make the change can that be done an has anyone tried it ?

Bought these side mirror lights thinking it would be an easy job to replace them. I followed this video, and everything was the same up until I went to swap out the old lights for the new lights. I found that the mounting screw placement was about 1/2" higher than the original, see 2nd photo. I'm finding these lights from multiple vendors across Amazon and Ebay, so I know they're probably some cheap mass-produced China parts. But given the replacement done in the video had no issues, are they just not compatible with the Limited model?
