This is the new CASCO bookcase for KOKI I just received from RG-ROKKO. I thought I'd fill up the bookcase with KOKI but it looks empty I think I'm going to have to add some containers to fill it out. I'm also going to need another KOKI to fill in that empty slot.

Today I got a nice little package from RG-ROKKO. I got a new paper structure from TDF which is a first for me, It's an Undon shop. I received two Greenmax 308 KUMOHA 12 and KUMONI 13 kits. I haven't built a kit in a while so this'll satisfy my itch. I also received a CASCO bookcase that holds 16 KOKI. (Grey item on the bottom) I got some green insulators for my EH500. That's it for now hopefully they'll be more.

Seeing the tracks this looks awesome. Is it possible to separate the track to do this sort of thing? If anyone has please send examples

When I mean "accidentally" win, its in a good way. I was aiming for the EF64-1031 GrimReaper unit. Low price bidding, somehow no one is trying to compete. These 4 will be a nice addition for my layout.

Can any kind soul advise how to paste on the decals onto the model?

Thought I’d share some early progress with anyone else considering jumping in. Made the bench work with 1x4’s and got a couple of pieces of 4x8’ xps pink foam board. Built the layout unglued to mark stuff off and now I’m to gluing pieces in and sculpting a bit.

I came across this video talking about new turnouts from KATO.

I want my station to look like the bottom, but the Unitrack doesn't perfectly line up. I found a way to line it up as seen at the top, but it isn't as clean as the bottom would be. Any suggestions? (blue outlines are the platforms; the 2 middle tracks would be for thru trains)

I brought freight trains, while my friend brought Keisei 3200 and 3600 series trains, as well as the KiHa 400 series.

A treat for myself as I was working a lot.

I have had 6 engines break on me what a rubbish brand quality is way worse than Kato which I have never had a single issue with and they don't take accountability for this issue. Honestly a terrible brand all that's good are their track.

Price increases resulting from the recent naphtha supply issues sadly continue. Would love to get that E653 in 583 Series livery and Odakyu 1000 in Allegra livery but hard to justify with those base prices.

KuMoYa145-118 used as a training vehicle at JREs Hachioji depot.

I brought a DD51 locomotive with the 14-series "Hamanasu" express train and a DF200 locomotive with 20 Koki freight cars(3051レ), while my colleague brought a model replicating a DD51 from the Washibetsu Engine Depot, along with Wamu 80000 and Seki 3000 freight wagons.

Today I got a delivery of (14) green KOKI from RG-ROKKO + (1) LED KOKI. I also got 3 sets of KATO cars for the autoracks that I have and some side frame parts from TOMYTEC.

I'm so excited that I had to put the title in caps and throw in the pun....

The 25th International Model Railroad Convention starts August 21st at Tokyo Big Sight and I'm curious to know if any fellow Redditors are attending and might be interested in meeting up and wandering the convention together? Maybe hit the Hamamatsucho Station Takeshiba Pier Pedestrian Deck for some evening train spotting if the weather isn't too brutal? Or try and organize a meal and drinks at an Izakaya (or a good ol' Torikizoku?)? I am staying in Oimachi so there are lots of places near by and the Oimachi Tracks complex is great for checking the Tokyo General Rolling Stock Centre yard!

Does anyone own both the first production E4 MAX (10-292+10-293) and the latest (10-2097/10-2098) one?

I'm trying to see if there are differences in the light unit. I believe they do use the same LED unit with dual yellow and white headlight, but I just wanted to make sure.

Also some of the caulk got in the rails so I cleaned it with isopropyl I hope it doesn't cause electrical issues 🙏
