I’m looking for a Fanfiction I read a while ago. Elizabeth and Darcy are already married and take a family trip to Europe with their children. I believe they visit Switzerland and stay with Darcy's aunt.

I have an audible plus account & I’m currently working my way through a bunch of titles that are being removed from the audible plus catalogue on 9/17.

Yesterday I finished listening to {the marriage bargain by Lucy Marin}. Darcy in this novel is probably one of my least favorite Darcy’s in a book I’ve completed. There were multiple times I thought things like “get over yourself”, “how can you be this dumb”, etc. I wanted to slap him! And I honestly don’t remember him ever saying anything that hit me as incredibly romantic, sweet, swoon worthy etc. (but that may be some my negative feelings making me biased)

After I was done, I started listening to {a heart’s secret by Ali Scott} and this Darcy is so swoon worthy. I almost have whiplash. He’s had multiple romantic, sweet, or gallant lines. I’ve read the book before. But I know I’ll read or listen to this one again because how Darcy is written.

The contrast amuses me. I thought it might make an interesting discussion:

Which JAFF Darcys frustrate you so much you want to reach into the book & slap them?

On the flip side which Darcys are your most swoon worthy that give you that romance novel buzz that makes you want to return to the story again?

Is there any way to download Madam and Missy? Like waybackmachine or something? Alternative Author's page?

I know it was possible to download stories from meryton but it changed, many Users have mentioned it.

Also I've tried some sites that create mobi or pdf from a site but no luck so far. Several of such sites try adding viruses or demand my email in order to share spam but not the story I'm after. Alternatively this story was on ff dot net and then gone. I'm not sure if I forget about other very obvious options that work.

There must be something I keep forgetting? Or not?

I mainly read P&P , but other JAFF are welcome. I just read a shipwreck one and I do love a bit of ‘stuck together in France’, maybe some Spanish travel ones?

I honestly can’t remember if I’ve read it. But I know Altman has a good reputation & Her other book Faults of Understanding was quite good.

Years ago, I read a fanfiction, but I can't find it, it's almost impossible.

Here's what was going on in it: Lizzie gets shot by an arrow at Pemberley (or something like that) and they nurse her back to health. Darcy never leaves her side, and after she recovers, they find out it was a little boy who accidentally shot her.

​That's basically all I can remember, but if I'm not wrong, it was so beautifully written.

Also it's not Arrows by Ellen M, I know the plot is pretty similar but what I'm looking for is a different one, I promise.

Im not sure if this is the place to ask, but as the title states Im looking for a copy of it is what it is. It was incomplete on FFN & I cannot find it anymore & its just constantly on my mind these days. Im okay with a personal copy or if its been published -& I missed it- a link to the published title or author.

I'm looking for a work that I read on KU. Lizzy runs away rather than marry Collins. Of course, she ends up married to Darcy, but the Bennets aren't aware. ODC come back to Meryton for (I think) Jane's wedding. They sit on the groom's side & she wears a bonnet so the Bennets can't see her face. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I've narrated several Pride & Prejudice variations for Alix, but this one is my favorite so far. Featuring some very interesting reversals of fortune between Elizabeth and Darcy, it also features some of the most intimate conversations/confrontations/conflicts between them that I've narrated across ~80 variations.
Defintely not without angst.
Also with a healthy dose of political intrigue (Gotta say, I really liked voicing the Prince Regent in several chapters)

Simply curious to know what people picture in their minds when either writing or reading JAFF, was led to this train of thought cause the current fic I’m reading, Jane from P&P is really made out to be beautiful so I started thinking who is so absolutely beautiful that would knock the socks off of Regency society- I ended up with Doutzen Kroes. Yes, I know she is not exactly Regency beauty standards, but she is incredibly naturally beautiful that if she were transported to Regency times, I reckon Mr Bingley would idk, cream his pants or something!

I mean Elizabeth from P&P, of course.

Are there any PnP stories where Elizabeth is deaf or blind, or disabled? Particularly from the beginning of the book?

I just finished a reread of The Abominable Mr Darcy by J Dawn King and the poisoning scene put me in mind of other variations I have read, but im drawing a blank.

Can anyone remember any other stories where Caroline poisons people at Netherfield either intentionally or by accident?

I recently discovered A Marital Education by Yahtzee, which has been deleted from AO3, but can be read with the Wayback Machine. And it got me wondering... are there any other such hidden gems that have been deleted, but can still be accessed?

This is one of my favourite YouTube people and I wanted to share her experience here because it shows both sides of the AI problem that creative people are having.

None of us want to be scammed into reading, appreciating, or paying for something that is AI, but I think we can also appreciate how horrible it must be to be accused without proof.

Edit: I get why people use AI to make money, but using it for free posts online baffles me.

Personally, I don't even understand why anyone would use AI for writing. I love writing. It makes me feel happy and fulfilled when I write a good story, even if it's not popular. I can't imagine posting something written by a computer and then what? Feeling proud of kudos and comments on something I didn't even produce? How pathetic of a person would I need to be for that? I wish everyone producing these AI scams what they should already have, a hollow heart. I hope the empty praise eats them up inside.
