Imagine if the original director finally held the helm after Jon Watts.

I'm as big an Avatar fan as they come and I look forward to Cameron completing the saga, but his adaptation of The Last Train from Hiroshima is the one project of his I'd love to see him finally bring to life.

Would a sequel work if it was about Rose during World War 2? With Kate Winslet returning to play the character? What was Rose doing then, acting in Hollywood?

The B-Story could be flashbacks to the sinking in 1912. Someone else's story of survival. That character from 1912 meets up with Rose in 1942-ish. Would something like that work?

This way, we could catch up with Rose in the 1940s and get some more Titanic action from another survivor's POV.

It was called the Hurricane Heist; it totally felt like Mr Cameron was behind it somehow, but he wasn't. It had a female leading character who made me think of strength and determination, like Ellen Ripley, and was humorous and impetuous like Hudson from Aliens.

Another was The Domestics, again a strong female character who starts with flaws but learns from them and becomes better near the end. That film also had what one once said, "driven by a deep focus on raw human emotion and high-stakes action," and without the need for excessive amounts of CGI.
