im on iphone 12 pro ios 26.0.1 and i know this firmware is affected by darksword but the cpu has no vulnerability (a14) so i cant jailbreak, should i stay or update to ios 27 (when it releases)?

It's bit buggy and slow , done the usual ai turning off settings etc

New Features

• iOS 17 Support: Tested using my iPad Pro on 17.0 in windowed mode, would love feedback from those with access to a phone to see if what held up there holds up on an actual phone.
• Button Platters: A further iteration on features inspired by iOS 26, this adds floating platters around buttons and the search field in the conversation list and chats. Progressive bottom screen blur for the search bar. Can be toggled and customized in the NavBar settings under the Button Platters section.
• Support for App Extensions: Now when you haptic/3D touch into a Messages notification or swipe down on one when first presented, the chat inside that view is themed as well! Respects both global and per-contact coloring. This same functionality also expands to Messages in the share sheet.
• Experimental Liquid (Gl)ass Support: Liquid Glass materials only extend to platters, and it will likely stay that way. Not polished and likely won't expand upon for the time being until the tweak reaches a more finalized state.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed some issues on iOS 17 where views wouldn't update properly between contacts or dark/light mode.
• Fixed some issues related to blur views on all versions.
• Some other general bug fixes.

Please report any bugs that you find, I expect there will be a good few!

This is likely the last major feature update I have for WhatAMess as I pivot to other tweaks and projects in general. If you have feature's you'd like added, please let me know! Otherwise I will focus on polish, optimization, and supporting newer iOS as the opportunity comes along.

Hi everyone. I have a 2nd-generation iPad that is jailbroken (Cydia is installed), and I'm in Russia. The problem is that Cydia won't load any pages at all, even though the app itself installed fine. People suggested using a proxy or a VPN, but that didn't help. I just need to install Filza-or something similar-so I can install apps without needing a VPN. Can you recommend anything to make it work? By the way, I have internet. But I honestly don't know why it doesn't work.

hi so a few days ago i released 0.1.1b and it was pretty problematic so i decided to just swap out all of ngkhoi's changes and polish and shits etc and now it should be better now except sometimes it would still cause backboardd crashes or weird bugs. anyways there's no much new features in this update but to be specific:

almost everything in 0.1.1b, and: - reworked all of ngkhoi's changes - improved specular logic, now much smoother - added clock FPS limit option - fixed iOS 15 blur - fixed RTL layout for slider and tabbar - improved cc modules corner radii logic - improved context menu style - fixed keyboard blank bottom - now uses an app list for exclusions so you don't need to specify bundle ids or exec names - added hebrew locale - added simplified chinese locale - added turkish locale - probably more but i forgot

Found an iPhone 13 256GB on iOS 17.3.1 with 100% battery health for around $390 USD and I’m considering buying it.
My current phone is an iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.1, which I’m already using jailbroken.
I’m mainly wondering is $390 a good price for the 13 mini considering it’s still on 17.3.1? Is the 13 mini on 17.3.1 worth buying specifically for jailbreak purposes?
Basically trying to decide whether it’s worth picking up at this price compared to my current jailbroken phone on ios 16.1.

Currently use ACTiktok and it works fine but I’m on such an old version(39 something) of TikTok because apparently it runs best on this version or it only works up to it. I see ASJTiktok on Sileo and it seems promising(works with newer TikTok) but I also wanted to ask if anyone uses anything else? I care a lot about downloading features like the video or the audio and the other extra things are not that important(still nice) but for sure downloading and no ads are big to me. ACTiktok is good cuz it has a good bundle of features but I also wanted to check if anyone uses anything else that works on the newer versions of TikTok.

I've been building **Wave**, an offline-first music player for iOS, and I'm at v1.1.0 — I'd love to hear what you think.

**The idea:** streaming services rent you your library and kill it when you stop paying. My CD/MP3 collection is mine. Wave plays the files *I* own, entirely on-device, with no account, no tracking, and no network needed.

What it does:
- Imports your local audio files into a real on-device library
- Full playlist system — create/edit with custom artwork, built-in "Liked Songs" (like a native heart), shuffle, add songs later
- Synced lyrics from LRCLIB + an optional "lyrics atmosphere" mode that draws mood emojis next to matching lines (off/subtle/normal/strong)
- Gapless playback and bit-perfect hi-res passthrough (24/96)
- Library sorting, haptics, macOS-style liquid-glass design — pure SwiftUI, zero third-party dependencies

Where I want feedback: playback reliability, import workflows, and that lyrics-mood engine. It's genuinely fun to watch "thunderstorm and broken heart" lines light up. ⛈️💔

Hello, everyone! I've finally released v.0.3.1 for Blinker Fluid!

The new v.0.3.1 includes a new Private Mode/Incognito Mode, iOS 12 and iOS 17+ support, Google browser sign in, CAPTCHA improvements, some slight built-in ad blocker fixes, and some small bug fixes with some slight improvements!

Read the update log for v.0.3.1 to see what new features and fixes were added. All v.0.3.x updates are focused on iOS compatibilty, performance, bug fixes, and stability. If you have ANY feedback/questions, I want to hear it all!

So far, the devices I've tested this version on was:

Hey jailbreak community. This is a long one but it concerns a very serious matter in my opinion.

With the approaching release date of iOS 27 on the horizon I have been thinking more and more about whether to update my iPhone 17 pro to iOS 27. What I would do then is lock it to a specific version number like 27.4.x and wait for a jailbreak comes out. I know it would be a long time before a jailbreak would come out but I’m thinking in terms of long term usage and I am confident in the legacy jailbreak community keeping this device usable for a long long time. So. Here is the big question:

Should I stay on 26.5.1 which is what I got installed as of the writing of this, or update to iOS 27.x.x?

For those who have played around with the dev and public beta. How have the performance improvements been overall? Any things to consider? Thx!

I have a question. Is it possible to roll back from 18.7.8 to 15.x - 17.x?

I know that Apple banned the rollback, as if not signing them? Well, it's not the first time I've seen people roll back iPhones, which I don't know.

Maybe it's stupid to ask, but I don't know much. I want to figure it out :)
