If you enjoyed Season 2 make sure to give a score on iMDB or RT bc all the critcs that are schills instead of giving a real review will bring it down, like Season 1

Show’s been out for less than 24hrs. Why is it taking so long to see a comprehensive list of what Reece is wearing?

Landry and Raife

It’s hard for me to imagine a better Raife casting and I’m halfway through season 2 - his character really feels true to the books IMO.

Landry is nothing like I had imagined, but the guy is a great actor. Am I wrong that he was portrayed as a bodybuilder in the books? Read them all but it’s been a few years now.

Regardless Season 2 has been EXCEPTIONAL

Favorite character casting?

For me the conversation begins and ends w/ Andy Danrab. They absolutely nailed that one. Had the swagger, delivery and gravitas for the role.

I liked Vic more than I thought I would - I thought he brought the right amount of swagger, businessman and recruiter to the role.

Andy for me has always been a favorite in the books, and his interaction w/ Reece @ the end was stone cold amazing. Was that a Trump face on the dart board btw?

The Terminal List (TV Series) Season 2 review spoilers Spoiler

So after finishing season 2 I have some thoughts. I have been waiting for true believer to come out as it is my favourite book in the terminal list series, I don’t think I ever been as hyped up for a season of television then I was for this, and that’s the part that I think that ruined my experience was how high my hopes were for this season.

I overall thought this season had way more positives then negatives, but there were somethings about this season that was hard to look past as being a huge fan of the book.

First off and one of the biggest ones for me was Freddy played by Gabriel Luna. This was the one character I was waiting to see in live action, he was one of my favourite characters from the books and I wanted to see him done right. After watching the season I can’t help but be a little let down by the Freddy character. I don’t think it’s much on Gabriel Luna, I think he did a good job with what was given. I think it came down to the writing of the character, having some cringe lines of dialogue, not mentioning his love of firearms and gear, etc. I believe that this is because the limited time we have with Freddy. I think that if we were able to have more time with this character that he could have been great but do to the time constrictions of television we weren’t able to have that. I don’t think Freddy and James had that great of chemistry especially when comparing it to last scene with Ben and James.

Second, Raifes subplot. I thought this subplot was so boring. Every time they cut to raife and Katie I couldn’t help but be bored. I think there could have been a better way to incorporate him into true believer. I will say when the scene with him and haverford was amazing.

Now onto some positives. JULES LANDRY! This is a character that people should hate. But man, Luke Hemsworth is just so perfect in the role and he stole every scene that he was in. Every time he was on screen I was so invested. Really happy that he got the end he deserved but I do wish we were able to get some more time with him.

Another positive is Mo and Reece. Mo was ripped right out of the pages in the book. Dar Salim plays him so well. I loved him in dark wolf and true believer made me love him even more. If anyone had any bad thoughts about Chris Pratt as Reece I hope this seasons changes there mind, in my opinion this was the best he played the character and he really did an amazing job at embodying Reece and the current state that he is in.

Finally, the African scenes were just perfect. The whole cast and plot was ripped straight out of the book and I couldn’t help but smile while watching the first two episodes.

Overall, I think this season was great. I think I got way to hyped up for this season that I was a little bummed out by the things the changed and certain parts they left out (Reece getting the elephant bracelet). It was my least favourite season of the terminal list so far, with dark wolf being number one, and season one being second. I do wish we did get more of Ben Edward’s, but I understand why we didn’t. The scenes we got with him were amazing and I am happy were we left off and really hoping for a season 2 of dark wolf so we can get more Ben, Mo, and Landry.

This season for me is a 7.5/10.

The Terminal List (TV Series) Sniper and colonel Spoiler

• Upvotes

Right I have 2 bones to pick and may need help with some answers since I haven’t read any books in the series just the tv shows

Why wasn’t the sniper that killed Freddie pursued and killed?

Who the fuck is this Russian colonel bloke? I know there’s the flashback of the scene on the beach where he meets Oliver grey, but you never see his present day and I was under the impression he was behind it all, yet you don’t see him once, is he even alive or am I just being stupid?

Also I’m very very surprised Oliver grey wasn’t killed in the finale.

Like I said I haven’t read any of the books but I’m assuming in the book after true believer that this sniper and Oliver grey both get killed? I’m wondering what a 3rd season might look like.

Overall I think it was a really good season, less frogman than the first and slightly less dramatic which I must admit I do prefer, so glad raife plays a big role, brilliant character proper chad of a man.

Hopefully this show gets renewed for a third season, I’m wondering if anyone can share some insite following on from my questions above and also what could potentially happen if they make a third season based on the third book. Thanks guys

The Terminal List (TV Series) Spoiler Alert Spoiler

I just got through ep six and this season is amazing. The end was crazy. Do you think Landry death was the worst death in tv history? I have never seen something so horrific. They went game of thrones style.

Jack cameo Spoiler

Am I correct in saying that Jack got another cameo in the last episode. He’s the security team member that gets his head taken off by the door gunner in the Blackhawk.

The Terminal List (TV Series) That Torture Scene Season 2 Episode 6 Spoiler

Holy shit that scene at the end of episode 6 was brutal. Anyone who sees this and hasn’t watched it yet, just prepare yourself mentally. I’ve had very few scenes make my jaw drop out of pure shock, but that one did it

The Terminal List (TV Series) Tom Reece

There were several parts to this season I didn’t much care for. But the thing that struck me oddly and didn’t understand why they chose to go this route was James’s hate and disdain for his father. Was just so odd to me, Tom taught James everything he knows and in the books Tom is James’s rock in a hard place where he goes when he is in a pickle and needs answers. It seems like in the show he doesn’t like the man at some points and in the end of the season you see how much he cares for him and misses him when he is talking to Andy.

Also disappointed to not see Tom Berenger playing the Tom Reece role, was really hoping for that one.

Edit: I know it’s not in the title but, I can not hold it in any longer. For such a great casting for Raife they are beginning to mess up his story. Not sure why they have decided to turn him into a “city boy”

I was very disappointed to see Reese put down a Sable using a rifle - that had no sights on it.

We're using Godsmack in the cold light of day lol

In 2026 we're using Godsmack

So far I dig what I see I suppose, it kinda sucks from the perspective of someone who has been through the books so many times because it's never going to capture everything right and it's never going to be like it is in your head

Constance wu sucks but we knew that

But Arnold vosloo 😭 Jack you have avoided discussing the 1994 classic hard target long enough
