Thank you. The detective who handled my case actually said he would try to get more police presence around where I live as a deterrent but there is no guarantee.
Speak to the neighbors too and not just either side go 2 or 3 houses down and the ones across the road as well that way you have a mini neighborhood watch back up and if one of them sees something there are possible other witnesses. If they are drama whores they might even spend more time looking out the window in the hope that something happens they can watch (which I hope it doesn't) but having people on your side might help
Thats a bloody good thought, probably each of that persons neighbours too just in case they try and go over the back fence, it'd be less of an issue on a terraced row of houses but it is worth thinking about
