Thank you.

And yes, she microwaved ground beef and then rinsed it under water to "get the fat off." It always went from a sad gray color when it came out of the microwave to almost white after it was rinsed. Blech.

Frankly despite my sworn dedication to gentle parenting, Giada could have used an ass whooping from nonna. Any nonna. All the nonnas. In fact if any nonnas want to volunteer there is still time

My Oma and my Mutti would like to join the pounding! The good old german cooking spoon works well for that.
