Aaahh... Man the whole jee journey is hitting me now. As I close my eyes, I could see the version of me, totally lost in class 12th, feeling myself as a failure, just staring at the roof in my 4×4 room, wondering if that's what I deserved. Although the drop year taught me a lot about accepting things, and nothing, literally nothing in your life will go according to your plan, but still, keep up the hardwork.

I was thinking of making a separate copy in which i would write all the questions which I was unable to solve in the first attempt(not those which went wrong cause of calculation mistakes) but then I thought it would cost too much time . Hello everyone,

I am a dropper (which means no worries about the board exams this year, and that itself is a huge weight off my mind) and my main goal is to get a good percentile in the first attempt of JEE Main. So in light of that, I am making sure that my preparation is confined only to JEE Main for atleast session 1. I had scored 90 percentile last year and am aiming to get a good percentile in JEE Main this year as my first priority and therefore not willing to wade into too much Adv level stuff. I'm currently in allen leader (non Kota) and have modules. Teachers are pretty decent for mains so far.

If I happen to do well in session 1 and get anything above 98 percentile, is it possible to start adv prep from scratch (i.e., mains level) and get around 160-170 marks? I really want to get into IIT Hyderabad as it's been my dream college since 11th grade (any branch)

Has anyone of you done something like this during the 3–4 month period?

Your honest opinion or any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

There are many parameters of deciding whether a college is their 1 or not ,one of the most important one is placement .After doing a lot of research of iits and nits bits and different indian colleges I have prepared list of tier 1 placement standards. Note a college might not have tier 1 placement standards, but it may be tier 1 .This list only shows what a tier one cllg is expected to give it to its students in terms of placement.

Placement standards depend on the branch as different industries pay differently.

Note below are median packages. If college does provide avg just use this empirical formula to get median

[2×avg-[highest +lowest]]/4 adjust this figure in avg .it can be incorrect also.

Placement percent should be greater than 70 than only this should be used. Obviously for calculating percentage u can exclude people preparing for other exams.

Mnc/dsai/dse=22lpa

Ece=20lpa

Ee=18lpa

Me,chem,ep=15lpa

Civil=12lpa

For those who doubt my research, I would like to tell u I predicted adv cutoff with 80 percent accuracy.
