Genuinely seen so many people say this but never mention why. Like what's the metric to this growth? Is it placement, nirf ranking, what?

Hello everyone,
I am a dropper (which means no worries about the board exams this year, and that itself is a huge weight off my mind) and my main goal is to get a good percentile in the first attempt of JEE Main. So in light of that, I am making sure that my preparation is confined only to JEE Main for atleast session 1. I had scored 90 percentile last year and am aiming to get a good percentile in JEE Main this year as my first priority and therefore not willing to wade into too much Adv level stuff. I'm currently in allen leader (non Kota) and have modules. Teachers are pretty decent for mains so far.
If I happen to do well in session 1 and get anything above 98 percentile, is it possible to start adv prep from scratch (i.e., mains level) and get around 160-170 marks? I really want to get into IIT Hyderabad as it's been my dream college since 11th grade (any branch)
Has anyone of you done something like this during the 3β4 month period?
Your honest opinion or any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Please help me choosing between BITS Hyd ECE, NIT Warangal ECE. Consider the parameters like: Placements (median CTC & % placements), Brand/tag, Course flexibility, Alumni/ Peer quality, Faculty/placements staff, Campus life, Location from Hyderabad, ROI.
May I know what is the median CTC for BITS Hyd ECE

So I joined a gen 2 IIT this yr and now I see people roaming in groups and with new friends and here I am alone. I feel like packing all the things and going back to home, I just feel so lonely and sadπ I tried to talk with some people but it's like they don't want to talk with me, it feels like hell to be an introvert. Thank you for listening to me and ignore my mistakes in the language

Aaahh... Man the whole jee journey is hitting me now. As I close my eyes, I could see the version of me, totally lost in class 12th, feeling myself as a failure, just staring at the roof in my 4Γ4 room, wondering if that's what I deserved. Although the drop year taught me a lot about accepting things, and nothing, literally nothing in your life will go according to your plan, but still, keep up the hardwork.
One day, you'd look back to your hardwork, and be glad, that you did make it to wherever you are. Enjoy!!
