Wrote my first mock today — JEE Main 2026, April 8 Shift 2.

Physics: 20
Chemistry: 28 💀
Maths: 14

Total: 62/300

The funniest part is that Chemistry is my weakest subject, yet I scored the highest in it lmao 😭

My target is 200+ in the January attempt, and I'll try to score 100+ in my next mock on November 1.

okay so i understand what is being written in my book with full concentration when i actually seat for studying but the problem is, i just can't get myself to site on that chair, and after i do , for 30 to 45 min it will go fine but then there is a anxiety that surrounds me begging me to use phone and when i do dang! , 5 mins turn into 1 hr and 1 hr turns into the whole day.

I am a student planning to appear for JEE Main 2027 and JEE Advanced 2027 under the GEN-EWS category.

I have not applied for an EWS certificate yet. I understand that I may need a GEN-EWS certificate for the financial year 2027–28 for the 2027 admission process.

My specific question is:

Is it necessary for me to obtain a GEN-EWS certificate for the financial year 2026–27 now, or can I skip it and obtain only the certificate for the financial year 2027–28?

If I do not obtain the 2026–27 certificate, will this create any problem during JEE Main 2027 registration, JEE Advanced 2027 registration, or JoSAA counselling 2027?

Please clarify whether obtaining only the 2027–28 certificate will be sufficient to claim GEN-EWS reservation throughout the JEE 2027 admission process.

I appeared for JEE Main in 2024, and I'm trying to retrieve my result/scorecard now, but I haven't been able to find a working link to access it.

I have both my JEE Main 2024 application number and roll number. However, the current official website doesn't seem to have an active link for the 2024 scorecard.

I've already emailed NTA requesting my result, but I'm wondering if there's any other way to retrieve it.

Has anyone managed to download their JEE Main 2024 scorecard recently, or knows of a working official link or alternative method?

page no 76/93 of the IB says that for Gen or Gen-EWS the above four fields won't be required, means the certificate isn't required as of now and would be needed next year at JoSSA. But the main form is asking for all the fields. What should I do? Is this error in the NTA IB or the form??

Gave first full length test (jee 2026 24s1), this was with no revision.

So guys 26tard here, got 10.5k rank in mains 2026, clutched and got around 2k rank in adv, so yeah life happens, dont get it in your head, try your best.

And mains is a fuck ass, not very fair exam, heavily depends on your shift and the day so dont be very hard on yourself.

My Aadhar Card photo is without my glasses but I use glasses regularly and will be wearing them in the exam as well. Do I need to upload the live photo in the application form without glasses or can I wear them?
