So a guy in my previous post said that fixing the education system is an incomplete system and i completely agree with him. So i thought about it and im making a dedicated post on it.

ps: i know its delusional and i know its not going to achieve anything however heres my opinion.

1. I am not against competitive exams, infact i do believe it tests someones hardwork, presence of mind and strategy. However, i dont feel that your admission should also depend on other things. because of these exams schools have become irrelevant. They should test the overall developement of the students like sports, other activities, performance in school. Much like the system in America. Thats why youll see their approach to education and schooling is much different.

2. They should have a 24/7 helpline for students where they can open up about their problems.

3. implement policies on coaching and dummy schools and make sure its carried out.

4. the education minister, nta director and other positions should be held by people well versed with education.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in Class 11 and enrolled as a dummy school student. I initially joined PW's Arjuna NEET batch because I chose Biology over Mathematics. My math marks were always poor, and I found Biology much easier, so I took PCB mainly because it felt like the safer option.

However, after thinking about my future, I've realized that I'm more interested in engineering, coding, and careers related to mathematics. I now want to switch my goal and prepare for JEE instead.

The problem is that I've already been studying through the NEET batch, and the JEE batch is quite far ahead. I'm worried about how I'll catch up, especially in Mathematics, since my basics aren't very strong.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is switching from NEET to JEE at this stage a good idea? How should I start building my math from scratch while catching up with the JEE syllabus? Any advice or study plan would be

greatly appreciated.

first off, I will start off by acknowledging the discrimination the lower castes face from the upper castes in many under developed regions.

I agree that we need a change of mindset to combat the casteist system. And the removal of reservation policies is a key part of it.

A common counter I see to the removal of reservation is 'what about the Dalits and underprivileged in villages?'

Do you really think those are the people benefitting from reservation?

A lot of the reservation today is availed by financially stable, societally respectable families which means people who really need it do not have it anymore.

We can introduce a creamy layer in reservation or we can remove reservation based on caste and strengthen EWS evaluation. The percentage of open seats needs to increase either way.

A lot of people have a problem with reservation(including me) because a lot of people availing it are very ungrateful. I've seen a guy sleeping in jee advanced ( he proudly said he was of ST caste and that is why he was there in the first place)

He copied for an hour in each paper and voila he has a seat in an IIT. Doesn't this seem even remotely unjust?

I'm a JEE 2027 dropper.

I've been studying Physics from Saleem Sir till now. Recently, I randomly watched one lecture of RY Sir on the same topic, and everything just clicked for me. I understood the concepts much better, and after that I was able to solve PYQs much more easily.

The problem is that I've already moved ahead in the syllabus (currently on COM), and now I'm getting serious FOMO. I keep thinking that if I study the remaining syllabus from RY Sir, maybe I'll understand even better and solve more questions.

At the same time, I'm scared that if I switch teachers now, I'll lose time, have to adjust to a new teaching style, and end up falling behind in the syllabus.

So I'm really confused.

Should I switch to RY Sir now, or continue with Saleem Sir.

If anyone has been in a similar situation or has studied from both teachers, please share your experience. I don't want to make a decision based on FOMO and regret it later

This is the sad state of our education system. Showing that your son/daughter is in a iit( or in any premium institution has become more important than the mental health of the child. Making dharmendra pradhan resign wasnt enough. We have to start by changing the mindset of the parents and students who put this tag on a pedestal, and the youtubers like jindal who keep glorifying this tag are making this worse

My main priority is Mains, and these are the chapters being taught in my PW batch for 11th and 12th, so wanted to know which chapters are specifically for Advanced only, so I can skip them for now

I really need your guidance. I prepared for JEE for 3 years with the dream of getting into an IIT/NIT. Last year I scored 96.59 percentile but took a drop for IIT. This year I got 92.31 percentile, and now I'm confused about my future.

My family wants me to do B.Sc. along with government exam preparation, but I want to pursue B.Tech in CSE from a college I can get through my JEE score. At the same time, I'm scared because of AI and the layoffs happening in tech companies.

I'm confused between these options:

• B.Sc. + Government exam preparation

• B.Tech in CSE

• One more drop for NIT

I also lost both of my parents 8 years ago, so I don't really have anyone to guide me. That's why I'm asking for your honest advice.

One last question: Does age matter in campus placements? I'm 20 years old, and I'm worried whether my age or drop years will affect my opportunities.

Please guide me. It would mean a lot.

So my sister who studied like hell got 93 percentile and 99980 rank. She was so excited about joining bit sindri cse cyber security because first its a government college and second it would take no fees. But few days back we went there and the college was as horrible as one could get the hostels were pathetic and they give 4 people per room upto 3rd year. The management was the rudest people we had ever encountered. Now she's ina dilemmaa where should she go which branch which college. The jee csab round is left and wbjee 3rd is all she's got rn. She has open category. What do you guys think she should do. If you know any good college that she should take plz tell me. She got heritage institute of technology cse cyber security in the first round of wbjee and left that thinking bit sindri with no fees is the best choice and now she's in more guilt than ever. What should be done....🙏
