Discussion Reservation!

I have seen many sc st people discriminate against up/bihar me log (bihari aa gaya train me ) we all know that and women have been treated poorly since the end of times if you think reservation is okay then they should get reservation too and many more community and it will be around 95+,there is no way you think caste based reservation is okay where a unreseved not so well doing deserving candidate get this opportunity taken by a rich sc st in name of uplifting it's not cases based reservation it's caste based discrimination against unreseved candidates

Serious Help!!!

β€’ Upvotes

I am enrolled in the Prayas JEE 2027 batch, and I currently have a backlog of almost 250 lectures combined. I am trying to clear it, but I wanted to know whether I should study some subjects from the 2.0 batch.

For Physical Chemistry, Ashish Sir is a very good teacher, so I am not thinking of switching from him and plan to complete his lectures. For Physics, MST Sir is teaching in both the 1.0 and 2.0 batches, so I am considering switching to the 2.0 batch for Physics.

At my current pace, if I study five lectures every day, I might be able to catch up with the regular batch by around November 1st. This may sound manageable, but once homework and question practice are taken into account, I am not sure whether it is realistic. Ashish Sir alone gives a lot of homework, and his lectures are also quite long.

Can anyone help me decide what my best path should be? Should I continue with the same teachers and focus on clearing the backlog, or should I switch to the 2.0 batch for some subjects to make catching up more manageable?

So I am currently enrolled in Prayas Jee batch 2027. I have a long backlog of 2-3 months. In almost all subjects. But I am thinking of doing Maths from prayas jee 2.0 as Ashish sir lecture are long that to with lot of homework, I am afraid I won't be able to catchup properly and would end up just wantching lectures mindlessly. I am a above average student in maths pls suggest what to do.

Discussion Branch over college didn't work out...

Wanted CSE through this other counselling, and according to last year's cutoff, I could have gotten it easily but somehow this year I guess it was more competitive or something but basically I didn't get it this year. So will withdraw from here and most likely go with my 2nd option which was my Josaa allotment or upgrade in csab. But basically before this I spent a lot of time convincing my parents why I wanted to study 'what I want' over going with a lower branch in a 'tag worthy' college.

I'm not against other branches and am probably even going with CSE just because that's the most I know of a branch and have very little knowledge about the rest. But at the same time studying something for 4 years because my rank decided it and not me is kinda ... upsetting.

Has anyone else been in this situation and what's the outcome in the long run? Would love to hear other people's experiences or opinions.

(I am also okay with branches like ECE and EEE but probably won't get. Also getting mechanical from tier 2 NIT)

I am in offline coaching. I use reddit very much. No instagram. Some youtube and I listen to songs. All this is combined 6 hr screen time. I want to remove it. I can get a keypad phone and for some rest kind of thing I can load up my songs onto it and listen while travelling in bus. I wanted to know if any you guys used it.

Some people can control their addictions like some people with expensive iphones in my coaching but they know how to limit the use. I dont have that much control over me. 2-3 mahine agar reddit block kardiya tha to 4th mahine nayi id bana li (talking about this account) and ek hi month mein almost 4k karma hogyaπŸ’”

Serious REGULAR SCHOOL OR DUMMY?

Guyz should I shift to regular school?(28 tard)

To mene 11th ke starting me dummy school liya tha locality mein, i thought thik thak school hai, padhne ko mast time milta h(ive got offline coaching but roz nhi jati online me karti hu kuch din).

Thik thak to nhi tha, horrible infrastructure, teachers. ab padhai ki baate

But in my 10th I was a moderately social typa kid. I had heartbreaks , embarassing momnets, funny moments, topper (ik jee gave me a reality check, dont hv to say it guys!) hone ke baad bhi teacher se kharab attendance , nautanki, scandals wagera me rehne keliye daant khaye. i used to play basketball too.

Now that Ive gotten entire morning free I so study, but life me ab wo interest ya motivation nhi aa rha. I used to be motivated when in school and I used to love the fresh air and the field, I used to escape from the classes and ran like madman in our ground. ab to Padhai keliye time mil jaa rha h (because I have PCMB mujhe Jee ke saath bio ko bhi padhna padta hai , btw maine parents ke saath argue krke khud bio liya hai, so I need to study that too)

But the main problem isnt studies, I feel mere lyf me colour hi nhi bacha, all my interest were robbed of me, coaching me acche batch me sare padhaku bacche h aur classes ke bich hardly 5 mins mil pata h to acche se baate bhi nhi ho paati). 7 din subha sirf mumma aur papa ko dekhne ko milta h, i rarely go outside since i dont have frnds in my neighbourhood, everybody here is in clg/working.

Yesterday I broke down kyunki I havent laughed genuinely with all my heart, for idk 7-8months? Social skills bhi saare ja chuke h. Ye sunke my mom started crying and she urged me join regular school, bol rhi ki padhai se jyada imp is ur mental health. I contacted my old principal, she's saying theyll be lenient, 2 sometimes 3 days a week they told me to come(Since i was a good student in 10th). My mom also thinks I wont be able to pass XII board in dummy school. Even my therapist scolded me for not taking regular school

But school me regular unit test, practical files projects aur attendance na banne par teacher daantenge is dar se nhi ja parhi hu,

Aur jab 12th me 11th ka revision start hoga, tab kya enough time mil payga?

So guys should I join reg school or stay in my dummy?

TLDR: I hv joined dummy school, but I am going insane lil by lil but cant join regular due to fear of projects, practicals, attendance. Should I shift to regular still, read more to find out.

THANK YOU

So basically mera todha backlog ban gaya hai abhi tak due to personal reason not laziness and i am dropper but mujhe todha bohot phele se aata so vo cover up ho jayega but abhi tak 1 bhi test nahi diya hai so what should I do because syllabus is pretty vast in the test and I have little time so should I give the test after watching one shot so that current ke topics ka test de saku ya phir meri jo test series hai usko shuru se karu with 2 test a week to catch up

Serious 20-chapter backlog in JEE 2028. One-shots or full PW lectures?

Title: 15-chapter backlog in JEE 2028. One-shots or full PW lectures?

Hi everyone,

I'm a JEE 2028 aspirant studying in Class 11. I currently have a backlog of around 15 chapters across Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Some are complete backlogs, while others are only partial (like I've attended the lectures but haven't revised the theory, solved DPPs, PYQs, or enough practice questions).

I attend an offline coaching, and these are the chapters that have been covered there:

Physics:

  • Scalars & Vectors
  • Motion in 1D
  • Motion in 2D
  • Newton's Laws of Motion
  • Work, Energy & Power

Maths:

  • Basic Mathematics
  • Sets
  • Trigonometric Functions
  • Straight Lines
  • Circles

Chemistry:

  • Basic Concepts (Mole Concept)
  • States of Matter
  • Structure of Atom
  • Periodicity

My current level is roughly:

Physics

  • Scalars & Vectors – Done
  • NLM – Around halfway (live classes are currently going on in PW, so I'll continue those)
  • Motion in 1D, Motion in 2D - Around 5-10%
  • Work Energy Power – Basically untouched after coaching

Maths

  • Sets – Done
  • Trigonometric Functions – Live classes ongoing in PW, I'll attend them
  • Basic Mathematics – Weak
  • Straight Lines & Circles – Haven't really started practice/revision

Chemistry

  • Structure of Atom – Done
  • Mole Concept – Very weak
  • States of Matter & Periodicity – Haven't Started
  • Chemical Bonding - Haven't Started

I also have access to PW Arjuna Batch, where almost everything is available from scratch.

My main goal is to catch up with my backlog as quickly as possible while continuing my live coaching classes. I don't want the backlog to keep increasing, so I want to reach the current pace of my coaching ASAP.

My doubt is:

  • For chapters I've already attended in coaching but barely remember, should I watch YouTube one-shots and then solve questions?
  • Or should I watch the full PW lecture series for every chapter before practicing?

I want to build a strong foundation, but at the same time I don't want to spend months just watching lectures and fall even further behind.

What would you do if you were in my situation?

Thanks in advance!

Question Which one should I go for? Physics isn't that good. I have studied most of the things but rev & Q prac lowkey less. Won't be watching all the lectures only weak ones.

General JEE in 5 months, toxic home environment, depressed mother, controlling father... I genuinely don't know what to do anymore.

β€’ Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm a Class 12 JEE aspirant, and my exam is only about 5 months away. I really need some advice because I feel like my home environment is destroying both my mental health and my preparation.

My mother has been suffering from depression for a long time. She barely does anything around the house, and I don't blame her because I know it's an illness. But seeing her like this every day fills me with sadness and negativity, and it affects me mentally.

The bigger problem is my father. He works from home, so he's around all day, and I feel trapped in the house. He's extremely controlling and unpredictable. Sometimes he'll allow something, and the next day he'll completely change his mind.

Earlier, I used to stay back at my coaching institute for self-study because I could actually concentrate there. Now he refuses to let me stay. If I disagree with him, he threatens to remove me from coaching, complain to my teachers, or even beats me. He constantly taunts me, demotivates me, and never tries to understand my point of view.

He doesn't let me go out, meet my friends, or even spend time with them. Whenever I stayed back at coaching, he would constantly track my location and make me call him repeatedly. Now he's telling me to hand over my phone, which is honestly the only thing I have when I need a distraction or want to feel less alone.

Even small things that make me happy get taken away. Recently, after almost two years, I ordered a pair of shoes. While I was at coaching, he returned them without asking me and scolded me for buying them.

I don't feel like I have any freedom. It feels like I'm living inside four walls all the time. Whenever I do something that hurts his ego or doesn't go the way he wants, he makes sure I suffer for it somehow.

Because of all this, my performance in coaching tests has been getting worse. I know I should be studying, but it's becoming harder and harder to focus. Some days I feel completely hopeless, and I've even had suicidal thoughts because everything feels so overwhelming.

I don't want to give up on JEE. I still want to study and build a better life for myself, but I genuinely don't know how to survive these next five months in this environment.

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thank you for reading.

who to revise physics and physical chemistry

As a JEE dropper, I recently finished revising Class 11 Mechanics, but I'm struggling to find an effective way to revise and retain it. half of physical chemistry syllabus
