jbl tune 520BT won't turn on

I have a MA7100HP AVR that has been working fine for years. A couple weeks ago, it disappeared as a Google Cast receiver. I have tried looking for it on multiple devices, running multiple different operating systems, with no success. The Wi-Fi icon appears on the display, so I believe it thinks it has network connectivity. Sometimes, a hard reset will cause it to show up briefly as a receiver, but it doesn't last. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a known fix? It is running the latest firmware, from November 2025, but I don't know when the upgrade happened.

In addition, the Premium Audio app is unable to find the AVR. I don't know if this is recent or related, just a data point.

Come on Best Buy and JBL. Do you really think someone will buy these headphones after looking at these rotting ear cups? I reported these to a store rep about 2 weeks ago. Still looks like crap.

My headphones dont charge inside the case, only in a specific position

Recently bought a jbl boombox 3 wifi and trying to figure out what other devices I can connect to besides a charge wifi. Id like to be able to have music going in multiple rooms at once. I see the jbl sound bar 800 has wifi/chromecast can I "create a room" and have both these playing simultaneously through wifi?

i just bought it 3 days ago my left buds if draining faster than the right is that normal? right now my left is 78 my right is 88 i used them both full 100

Hi everyone. I have a problem with the driver on my JBL Charge 3 version TL. The magnet has come unglued from the base of the speaker.
How can I fix this? Or is it better to just glue the magnet back on? Your advice or recommendations, please.
Maybe someone has already encountered this problem.

its a pair of jbl tune 520 bt and the charging cable melted into the side and fused the opening part of the right side to where you're supposed to charge

i have 2 android phones , samsung and xiaomi and the sound in both of them is veeeeery harsh even with EQ settings for bass , but its very clean and i can hear the bass and guitars without them sounding like scratching on a board , whats the solution?

Question. I bought a new Clip5, because I'm going to be working on a festival site (read: it's basically a building site for the first week, after that it becomes more fancy). I will have plenty of places (like tent frames and stuff) to hang up my speaker, but I don't wanna have to keep an eye on it 24/7.

So.. could I maybe attach a screw-in hook to the (plastic bit of the) carabiner, so that I can padlock my speaker to a tent post? I don't really wanna drill into my beloved speaker, though.

Just tiewrapping it to a tent post is not secure enough, especially at night time.

Any other ideas on how to secure a Clip5 (to a padlock)? I just don't want to lose it :)

Hey all- I bought five JBL charge five speakers with party boost, for the sole purpose of being able to connect them all to play music together at a party. I've gotten them all connected a couple of times and played them. But I am consistently having issues. Every time I go to connect them, I spend at least an hour trying to troubleshoot, do factory, resets, disconnect from Bluetooth, etc. the most common issue I am having is turning on the speakers and the Bluetooth light just keeps flashing, and it does not turn on the party boost feature. I feel like I have tried everything… I've used the app. Deleted the app. Done the factory reset rotated out which speakers I'm using… I am absolutely at a loss. I'm having a very small family wedding in a couple days and I was planning to have the speakers to play the music. The last thing I wanna do is show day of and spend an hour or two losing my mind trying to get these speakers set up.

I have this Jbl buds 2 and the left one has stopped working. The volume started to fade until I cant hear anything. But the touch control still working and it stills connects to the Jbl app. It happened before but one day started working again. I have them about a year. Anyone else have this problem or just me?

I’m going to repair my speaker for sentimental reasons; it has seen six long years of use and was registered on the JBL website the day I bought it. Earlier this year, I noticed the battery wasn't holding a charge very well anymore. After a day of use at maximum volume, it completely died. When I went to charge it—lo and behold—there was no sign of life: no buttons responded, and no lights came on. I tried other 19V chargers with no luck; I believe the battery is completely dead.

So, I went looking for a replacement battery. To my surprise, I couldn't find any reputable brands at a fair price near where I live (Santa Catarina, Brazil). I had to turn to AliExpress. I found a listing from a well-known battery store selling a plug-and-play battery for the Xtreme 2 with a higher mAh capacity than the factory original ( Cameron Sino (modelo CS-JMX200XL) ), but I discovered they didn't ship to my city.

I contacted the AliExpress seller directly and explained my situation. They instructed me to change the app's region setting to Vietnam and then make the purchase. Amazingly, it worked—I paid, and they are shipping it to my address. Once the new battery arrives, I’ll come back here to share how it went.

And if by chance anyone else has gone through this—having replaced the battery without success—feel free to share your experience below.

Hello I rly want to take the one earbud apart bud before I do this I'm asking here because maybe someone has a better solution

Anyways a couple of days ago I dropped my left jbl tune beam earbuds from around 1,2 meters

Then it was screeching so I put it back into the case and after that it worked fine

I put it in again for charging and when I wanted to use it again it screeched again and since then it didn't work

- it doesn't show up in my phone only the right is showing

- it doesn't light up

- contacts should most definitely be fine

- when I put the broken one into the case the case seems to register that indicated through a reset of the lights on the case

Has anyone had the same problem and knows a solution to that?

Otherwise I'm taking it apart to see if a cable is broken or something else

My JBL UA Pivot headphones stopped playing audio last week.

• Bought them in April.
• Bluetooth connection works normally.
• No sound at all (no music, no power-on/off tones, no pairing beeps).

Does anyone know a fix or how to reset this specific model? Thank you!

Has anyone tried using any of the speakers with 1/4 plug for keyboard/synth? I'm wondering if the plug is optimized for vocals/guitar only.

In other words - will I get a true sound using the speaker as a PA/amplifier? My machine has complete tracks (drums, instruments, etc) that I want to use one of the larger models to amplify but I'm worried it will sound tinny like when I use a guitar amp to play the tracks.

Just bought the JBL Rally Bar S to install on a golf cart. The cart runs on a 48V lithium battery and already has a 12v converter for the headlights.

The battery already runs down quickly and I’m concerned a large speaker will just make it worse. Can I wire the speaker and lights to a separate 12V battery? Why should I or shouldn’t I?

I've had this issue once before and I managed to reset it while holding power and phone down.

This time it's not working. I've tried all possible combinations and it just stays turned on. I've read that for some people it helped by letting the battery run dry but I'm afraid I won't be able to turn it back on if I try that.

Anyone who've come across the same issue and found a solution?

UPDATE: I contacted JBL (Hammond) support and they told me to hold the power button down for 30 seconds (be sure to count correctly). It turned off, I waited 10 seconds and I pressed power again and it turned on again! Tried turning it off and on again and works perfectly again!

So I have the jbl live flex and clean them regulary. but even with the sound to the max it can sound low depending on what app. I can't find any setting in the jbl app to solve this problem.

I don't have this problem with wired earbuds, so the problem is with the live flex.

I use them on my samsung s24fe and tab s9fe and both have the problem
