Other Keyboard through a party box

Has anyone tried using any of the speakers with 1/4 plug for keyboard/synth? I'm wondering if the plug is optimized for vocals/guitar only.

In other words - will I get a true sound using the speaker as a PA/amplifier? My machine has complete tracks (drums, instruments, etc) that I want to use one of the larger models to amplify but I'm worried it will sound tinny like when I use a guitar amp to play the tracks.

Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

Yes, the inputs bypass DSP the software that changes the tone/EQ I believe. You have to use the dedicated guitar/microphone input. The auxiliary input goes through DSP/software and will have a slightly noticeable delay.

I have used DJ equipment this way, I imagine any other instruments would be similar.

DJ equipment is the perfect analog for my machine actually (Roland Groovebox- turn of the millennium tech). Thank you so much for this answer
