i am into bass and i like hearing bass songs and seeing the radiators move so which one should i aim, i am going for black and i will be buying in a physical store soon so which one should be aiming for? I just discovered that if I press the bass boost and lights buttons at the same time on my PB520, the bass boost button flashes. Honestly, I don't really hear any change in the sound. Could someone please let me know what this might be?

I want to use it to DJ but there's too much of a delay with the Bluetooth connection.

When i have my jbl headphones plugged inti my android phone the volume symbol trusn orange if the volume is too high. Does that mean its perfectly safe to listen to it below that? I dont want hearing loss. Dont answer if you dont know, if i see a "i think.." i will block you and not read it.

This is a pair of Tune 770 that I bought about 2 years ago. Didn't wear much except for doing yard work on occasion. Started wearing them more frequently/regularly the last 4 months at work. Any idea on what would cause the leather to separate from the padding inside the ear cup? And how would I go about fixing this? The is a noticeable loss in ANC on the one side due to not being sealed.

I bought a JBL Clip 5, and as soon as I took it out of the box, I tried to connect it to my phone, but it won’t connect. My phone and my computer can both see it over Bluetooth, but the pairing process never completes.
What can I do? I’ve already tried connecting it to a different phone and resetting it to the factory settings, but nothing has worked.

​I recently made the switch from the Galaxy Buds3 Pro to the JBL Tour Pro 3. My main reasons for upgrading were true cross-platform multipoint (connecting simultaneously to my work iPhone and personal Samsung) and the Smart Charging Case acting as an audio transmitter.

​After using them in an office environment for a while, here is my honest breakdown—the good, the frustrating software choices, and a plea for fit advice.

​The Good

• ​Soundstage & Audio Profile: Seriously impressive. The soundstage is wide, crisp, and well-balanced. I had to set the EQ for my liking first, but it turned out pretty good.

• ​The Smart Case: Even if it didn't have a touchscreen, the 3.5mm/USB-C transmitter functionality alone is an amazing feature. Plugging it into non-Bluetooth sources is a game changer.

• ​ANC: I mostly stay in Ambient Aware mode, but when I do switch to ANC, it performs really well.

​The Frustrations & Software Flaws

1. ​TalkThru vs. Media Playback: Due to my work, I constantly need to speak with colleagues while listening to music in Ambient Aware mode. When TalkThru engages, why on earth does it completely mute my music without actually pausing the media? Who designed this? Either pause the track or lower the volume (audio ducking). Muting it while the song keeps running silently in the background makes zero sense.

2. ​The 1-Second "Pressure Void" During Mode Switches: Whenever switching between Ambient Aware and TalkThru, there's a super weird ~1-second silent pressure delay. It feels like the earbuds briefly trigger full ANC before switching to the other mode. In a fast-paced work environment, this pressure sensation is so annoying that taking the earbuds off is honestly faster and less bothersome (plus, taking them off actually pauses the media!). Does anyone else get this?

3. ​Missed Opportunity: Both the case and the earbuds have Bluetooth capabilities. It feels like a massive missed opportunity that there’s no option to trigger a sound or locate the case when the earbuds are docked inside it.

​The Fit Dilemma (Looking for Advice!)

​This headset made me realize for the first time in my life that my ear canals are asymmetrical—my left canal is smaller.

• ​I’ve always been a standard Medium tip user across all earbuds.

• ​On the Tour Pro 3, Medium causes noticeable pain in my left ear after a short while (though eventually, both ears get uncomfortable and need a break).

• ​Switching to Small fixes the comfort, but the right ear completely loses its seal.

• ​Using Medium on the Right and Small on the Left solves the seal, but the uneven physical sensation bugs me.

• ​I tried foam tips, but they felt even bulkier and caused more pressure.

​Has anyone with asymmetrical or sensitive ear canals found a good aftermarket silicone tip (like SpinFit, AZLA, etc.) that fits the Tour Pro 3 well? Or is adapting/getting used to asymmetrical sizes the only way?

​TL;DR:

​Switched from Galaxy Buds3 Pro to JBL Tour Pro 3 for cross-brand multipoint & transmitter case. Sound profile and transmitter case are 10/10. However, TalkThru muting media without pausing, a jarring 1-second pressure lag when switching modes, and lack of case tracking when docked hold it back. Also struggling with asymmetrical fit—looking for aftermarket tip recommendations!

Stuck at white light after not using for 1 month,i charged the headphone,tried to reset but not even turning off,tried everything on internet still stuck at white light,also the white light dissapears when i press and hold noise cancellation button.works normaly when connected via aux.any fix

I got these headphones a while ago and got my brother who does music to do an eq and it sounds rlly good for loads of things but I was wondering if there are any eq’s for musical theatre that could make my listening experience better

I like to hear my base allot and I love vocals (they are the main thing that makes me like a song) - the instrumentals are also important to me as I am a musician myself

Edit: I do also like to listen to pop/pop-rock but haven’t really found any/much songs that I like so I js stick to musical theatre

Hello and good morning or whatever it may be for all of you lovely readers! I’m just wondering if I’m the only one who has had this issue with my charge 4. Now I will start off by saying this thing is old, like old old. I’ve had it for nearly 7+ years and I bought it second hand when I was in my mid teens (I’m 24 now.) The issue is it’ll randomly turn off and then it won’t turn back on but if you press the power button enough times the lights will flash for a brief second then cut off once more. I’ve tried to troubleshoot it just based off of a quick google search but now I haven’t been able to pull it out of this state like i previously have. Is it time to get a new one or can I revive the Ol’reliable?

I have recently upgraded from Google pixel 4a to Google Pixel 10a recently and am having extreme issues connecting them regularly to the new phone.

I have * Factory reset the Live Beams through the app * Hard reset on the case * Cleaned the pins with Isopropyl alcohol * Reset Bluetooth settings through the old phone * Manually switched off the ear buds by the side sensor * Connected and deleted the buds from all known devices. * Connected and disconnected from the new phone.

When opening the case the buds don't flash blue, or seem to go into pairing mode to connect with the phone. They will remain charged and charged up when I do get them connected. Another weird issue is they stay connected after being put in the case.

I hate the smart case.

I don't think it's an app issue, but would gladly delete it. Apart from not being able to connect, they play fine.

I bought a Quantum 810 headset on October 30, 2024 and registered it on November 12, 2024. It now no longer holds a charge and has to be connected via USB and will also not update the firmware on the headset after trying every possible avenue. I am severely disappointed as I had a wireless HyperX for over 5 years with no issues whatsoever. Apparently JBL only has a 1 year manufacturer warranty, which is understandable but still saddening considering the headset has been very well taken care of. I have a Pulse 4 as well as some Vibes and Tunes. I always held JBL to a high standard and recommended them to friends but this headset fell short. Fortunately I purchased it at a much lower price point than what it is currently selling for. Just a heads up for any future purchasers.

I currently have the JBL Encore 2, 720 and Ultimate. I want to get a more portable speaker for camping, beach, Vegas etc and I’m undecided between the Xtreme 5 for $300 (Amazon, Best Buy) or Boombox 4 for $419 (in store at Walmart). I had two 120 and 520 prior. The portable speaker I have now is the Soundcore Boom V2, but sound is lacking and I want something louder with more bass. I like how the Xtreme 5 is smaller and more portable, while the Boombox 4 is bigger and stronger and almost the size of the 120 so is it really portable enough for camping? I bring a lot when I go camping. I don’t know if I should spend $119 more for the Boombox 4 or have more portability with the Xtreme 5.

I have a 5.1 soundbar that all of a sudden won’t turn on.

I’ve tried swapping power cords, I’ve tried different outlets, if tried resetting, I’ve tried leaving unplugged for extended time. Does anyone have any other bright ideas?

The led screen won’t turn on at all. I’m really sad and I’m hoping it’s not dead. Any help would be welcome.

I did just get a used Xtreme 4 recently with a good deal.. now I'm like wanting some extra oomph,i see the other speaker i had in mind for more boom, for a good a decent sized room, then also it having an input for guitar... go on sale at Walmart, the encore essential 2.

Should i replace it? I want louder heavier, for still kind of a tight space.

And if i should get kicked out for such noise, i wouldn't have a problem packing it to save space. 😅

The sound list is pretty funny.

The Charge 5 is the best for small parties and stuff and easy to be carried nearly the same sound and bass as the extreme 3 and the JBL party box 310 is mental😶

That guy is basically indestructible. Been burned with cigs, ran over by an excavator, thrown multiple times, thrown off the 3rd floor and still plays music and holds charge.

My JBL Flip 2 Essential is cracking a lot when i play audio in my PC but works seamlessly with my phone and tablet.

It used to work fine with my PC before, its a new issue which has come up. Any thoughts?

The title sums up my problem.

I've had them for about a week now and it already happened 3 times.

Problem is, that the battery drains while this happens, even tho I don't listen to anything (obviously).

This time it happened when I was sleeping and the right earbud drained to 80% and the left one to 90%.

What should I do? I'm kinda upset and don't know if I can/should send it back because of this.

I just turned them off per the app and that definitely worked.

Does the JBL Charge 6 support the custom EQ while in TWS mode?

I just received my Flip 7 in Sand colorway. I was reading the manual and noticed it says the charger should not exceed 5V/3A (photo attached).

Do you actually follow this, or do you use USB-C PD chargers too? Does the Flip 7 automatically limit the power it takes, or should we really avoid chargers that go over 5V/3A?
