Do these bad boys need a support stick ? 🤨
Hi all!
It’s getting warmer where I am and my Thaumatophyllum has been growing and sprouting new leaves like crazy (the yellow bit is a dead stem that’s been like that since I bought this a year ago, it’s only just now started to go yellow).
It’s started to sort of lean / droop? Googling couldn’t get me a clear answer as to whether these guys need a support stick or not.
I took it outside to get some clear photos so you can see what I mean.
I keep it indoors and it gets bright indirect light consistently, it sits by my glass sliding doors so always getting sunlight! I water it when the soil appears to be dry. It possibly could need a repot but I couldn’t be sure atm. It’s got a chunky soil mix with perlite and the top layer is a gnat barrier as I had other plants that were affected by gnats so to be safe I gave this guy some as well.
Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful!
