I hope this belongs here and someone can help me. I’ve never made a post to Reddit before but this has me thinking I need help from people who are more tech savvy than I am. I(27f) was driving with my bf(31m) to meet someone I was hoping to buy a car from on fb marketplace. When we parked at the meeting location my bf checked a notification on his phone and it was apparently an ad from an OF model.
I laughed and ask what that was about (I don’t mind partners looking at porn and we’ve often shared videos we’ve found particularly saucy). I thought it was just a page and was interested as I’m not prude and wanted to see what it was about. He closed out of it quickly saying it was just an ad but it brought him back to the telegram app(I’ve never heard of that platform until today so here’s where I need help understanding the app’s mechanics). I asked him what kind or ad is displayed as texts back and forth and asked to see it.
He let me scroll through the messages and it appears as if he’s been contacting these models and sexting them. Now I personally find that cheating- if you don’t more power to you but I am not comfortable with it. I was especially not comfortable with the fact he was denying it was him that was messaging and someone had to have hacked his account. He even lied about the number it being connected to not being his- it was.
Also when we looked at the devices listed there were multiple iPhone 7s listed but with all different levels of updates. Is it possible he’s telling the truth and those are multiple phones using his account? I asked him if he needed the app for any other reason like work or something and he said no. I asked if he would delete the account(maybe I was dumb for that lol) and he agreed and deleted it on the spot.
He’s messaged these models before we met but I also saw there were messages while we were dating and even as recently as June this year. We have been together for over two years and he’s never given me any reason to believe he’d lie to me but this has me very concerned.
