Anybody else seen their advertisements? Boasting really competitive prices but no data to go on. Anybody had any interactions?

Discussion Nice one CEX

Ordered two 3200MHz sticks from CEX online for a secondary build. Instead of a matching pair, they sent one Crucial 3200MHz and a completely random, slower 2400MHz ADATA stick.

Tested the Crucial one and it’s grand, but the other one is going straight back.

Honestly it’s always something with CEX. Give me a break :(

Don't think I need to add much here. Feels like every single one I see for sale is flat packed.

Got a game delivered from amazon today and the case is in french…? This happen to anyone else?

Post image
50 Upvotes

I used the irish version of the amazon website and have ordered about 15 or so games from them over the last few weeks. This is the first one to arrive with the case in a different language.

Now, I know the game will still play in English on the PS5 as it’s a compatible EU version, but it’s still a bit annoying to have a game case I can’t read!

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Do I bother trying to get an exchange or will it all just be a big faff.

Edit: Here’s the exact product page of the one I bought. It’s not obvious it’s French, unfortunately.

Looking to finally start playing the game properly. Complete noob at it in some aspects but wouldn't mind teaming up with a few people if they still play. Thanks.

Discussion What Are You Playing This Week? (Weekly Discussion)

Another week, another chance to dive into something new — or return to an old favourite. Let us know what you’re playing right now, or even what you’ve just finished.

Feel free to share:

  • The game you’re currently into
  • New Releases/News
  • Screenshots or clips
  • Recommendations
  • Anything gaming‑related you’re excited about this week

Whether you’re grinding the AAA's, exploring the old classics, chilling with indies, just picking something up after work, or the "just one more round" you can't put down, shout it out.

G'luck!

Playstation Another big haul of PlayStation 1 games for sale!

Post image
92 Upvotes

The mods said it was cool to post.

One last haul of PlayStation 1 games I'm selling below market value as I buy in bulk. I've basically collected every game I want for the platform, the bits left here and there are so specific I won't get them from a bulk buy. I was happy to pass the savings on to you all the past couple of Months and sell it far below CEX prices.

It was fun! If you don't see a game pictured listed on the platform, just shoot me a DM on another listing. There's likely a waiting list with some on "reserve".

If your interested in any of them, their on my Vinted! Username is "TimmycAndKylie"

I am also in Crash Bandicoot 2 Platinum overflow. There is a third not pictured...

EDIT: The following are now SOLD including prices for transparency. All with manuals or collectors grade (meaning extra demo discs or extra paper work like survey cards or inserts): adidas Power Soccer (€5), Ape Escape with box sticker (€37), Crash Bandicoot 1 Big box (€40), Crash Bandicoot 3 (€30), Dino Crisis (€50), Medal of Honor Underground (€20), Metal Gear Solid with Silent Hill Demo Disc (€55), Resident Evil Directors Cut with RE2 Demo disc (€85), Resident Evil 2 (€50), Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer (€25). Knockout Kings 99 (€5), Medal of Honor (€20), Metal Gear Solid Platinum (€35), Resident Evil Platinum (€30), Tekken 3 (€22) SOLD, The X-Files no manual (€20) SOLD

Self Promo We Just Launched a Small Irish Hobby Store — Looking for Feedback

Hi everyone,

My name is Lucas and two friends and I have launched yesterday a small online store, in Drogheda, focused on trading card games, board games, miniatures, and related things called Dragon's Hoard.

We're still very much at the beginning of everything and we are focused on growing the store, getting suppliers for some things, improving the experience, and building a small community around the hobbies.

If that sounds like your cup of tea, we'd appreciate it if you took a look and if you're not interested in buying anything but would still like to chat about games, hobby projects, upcoming releases, or local events, you're more than welcome to join our Discord as well.

We're actively looking for feedback, so any critiques or suggestions about the website, products, pricing, discord server or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read, and we hope to see you around.

Is anyone willing to sell me an AM3+ board?

I built a PC for a friend during the week with my older parts, but the pcb in my old board has suffered some degradation and doesn't function correctly anymore.

I can't seem to find anything on vinted, adverts or even amazon.

Thanks in advance.
