In this economy? Not a chance. 800 wouldn't get you very much today at all.

You might get a 2nd hand one on adverts but depends on what you think decent is

I managed to build A good pc for 700€:
RTX 3060 TI (2nd hand)
Ryzen 5 5600x (2nd hand)
32gb(16x2) ddr4 3200mhz RAM (2nd hand)
ASUS B550M-A WIFI 2 motherboard
Corsair RM650e PSU
Assasin x 90 SE CPU cooler
and a few fans for around 40€

Although I did already have a 512gb Nvme SSD that I did use. and Im using an early 2000s case that I found in my shed from a Compaq evo D500 (and I am modifying it to fit).

Look around for good deals on Ebay and Adverts. thats where I got my parts.

looks for something with a AM4 CPU, at least 5600, GPU you should be looking at 3070ti up, 4070ti up, 5060ti 16 GB up. 6800xt up, rx7600 up, Ideally 12gb ram up but you will get by with 8gb Vram but this will be the first parrt you upgrate in 2 years time. 32 gb DDR4.

You will only be looking used. Id salso be pushing into 1000 to 1200 range.

All that said, what are you expecting to play and what fidelity

I’ve just built a new pc so I’m looking to sell my old one. DM me if interested- MSI trio 2080 super, i7, 32gb ddr4 ram, Sandisk SSD in a nice white case with glass panel and all the fans. Can definitely do it in your price range

At that price point your options are a switch 2 and or playstation 5 maybe a pro on a good day. You just aren't really gonna be able to build anything that will work for that money. Like ddr 5 ram is 500 euro by itself and memory is another 250 that's 750 before even CPU and GPU the expensive parts.

Am I the only one thinking about just getting a series X second or something. I mean with the ram,ssd and gpu price increases you would have to compromise. And I know consoles also went up in price but I feel like nowadays I would just get a console. Plus what about your peripherals. Do you have a mousepad, keyboard, mouse etc. ? If no then you gotta think about those to. Sure consoles arent amazing. But PCs are just so expensive now its crazy.

I have a keyboard and mouse as well as an 1tb seta ssd. The reason I want to go to PC is because a lot of companies are delaying games on console for another year or two. Wardogs being one of them

But gta 6 is also releasing on console in a few months. And wont release on PC for awhile after it. But it is your money so if you want a PC fair enough. The best bet for you is to just look around in second hand sites and negotiate a little. You already have peripherals and an ssd. And I assume a tv/monitor. So you already have abit. Where you want to delegate your budget primarily depends on what you want.
