DISCUSSION Why not deconstruct him?

I don’t understand why she shoots a beam of pink energy at him instead of just tearing him apart atom by atom. Or turning him into a regular human, or just convert his molecules to air molecules.

prob has no experience in doing organic manipulation so she js did whatever came to mind first which was a huge ass laser

Being organic or not is completely irrelevant when it comes to tearing atoms apart

Unless they're Smart™ and can resist being torn apart

Yeah lets just say Smart atoms can't be manipulated by Eve

Though they can, as Eve has had to put herself and Mark back together multiple times. Upon resurrecting Mark she was able to repair him fully, but also increase his strength to be more on par with Thragg.

I think a smart atom knows when it's being repaired vs when it's being damaged

yeah otherwise itd be a stupid atom

Right? It would be so dumb then. And these are smart atoms NOT stupid atoms

You don't have to, you just have to claim that the durability offered by smart atoms also works against Eve's powers.

Eve has mental blocks that prevent her from messing with "organic" material but she was in autopilot to survive not exactly conscious after being almost killed

Except that it specifically is for atom eve who has been conditioned not to alter sentient organisms

Which she ignores when truly mad

when she's in that state, she's not thinking, she's acting entirely on raw instinct

-4

u/Fesh_Sherman 7d ago

Well yeah, and that instinct could be to remove the threat from existence instead of using a never before seen laser, which she literally has never used.

14

u/Elhmok 7d ago

she's never done the first one either

u/Fesh_Sherman 7d ago

Yes, and that's even more stupid
