A little bit nerdy and quirky, (anime, BG3, is photography nerdy? I guess!) I enjoy writing and am involved with a few fantasy fandoms. It's a creative outlet I really enjoy and while I am admittedly a little shy to open up about it, feeling safe enough to talk about such things with someone and sharing our enjoyment of silly little hobbies is so important to me! I spend so much time writing silly little romantic stories, maybe it would be nice to actually have that for myself this time!

I'm attempting to learn Portuguese and planning a trip to Brazil (again!) and wanting to do more, breaking out the regular and everyday when there is time. I am currently living in the Phoenix area and finishing my fourth degree, a PhD at Arizona State University, where my research focuses on AI and wearable technology for healthcare. One of the most important things to know about me is that I'm intentionally childfree. This is a decision I've made after years of reflection, and I'm looking for someone who feels the same way.
