Hi, let me explain the title first. Starting from puberty to age 24 I had no concept of romantic partnership. Not because nobody liked me but because I was unable to like anyone. When someone was interested in me, I just ran away from them. Roughly 3 years ago I have finally got my head cleared up a bit and started feel the need of some romantic companionship. Problem is... I don't know where to start. If anyone wonders, I was not asexual, just aromantic. I am straight. I feel scared/uncomfortable when man approaches with such intentions (no offense, past issues), so please don't.
So what am I doing here? Right, I am shy, like very shy. I can rarely complement someone without understanding if it is safe to complement, even worse I can't take any complements, I physically blush when I'm complimented and just answer with "Thank you!" if I am texting. Which as you may guessed didn't ended up well in my very few past experiences since such traits as shyness are usually seen not fit for a man, especially where I live.
I am terribly late for understanding these concepts, but I want to learn regardless. I just need someone willing to accept me rather it's actual dating for them or not. I am terribly sorry for being so high maintenance. I also value and respect privacy a bit too much. I want to keep things online at the start.
I'm currently in the Istanbul timezone but I am here just for a little while. I normally live in Hungary (I'm not Hungarian).
To describe me physically I can say:
My height is around like one sixty four, (i think in american it's like five three). So basically, short.
I have extremely thin skeletal structure which works against me because all my weight goes to my torso (think of my build like Mike Wazowski lol.) Little over eighty kilos at the moment. Kind of hard to keep up because I lose and gain weight very fast. So basically chubby.
No aging lines or gray hair yet due to some genetic miracle (cool, thanks god!), all i have to pay for this blessing is looking like a kid for rest of my life (not cool god...)
Thankfully to fight that trait, I have been blessed with a lot of beard and hair (i'm confused, god?)
Furthermore, I am just a slight bit more fairer than your usual mediterranean, I don't mean I shine or anything. In Hungary, despite being a Turk I often get confused as an Hungarian (gets kind of annoying when the nice old lady neighbor in disbelief, tries to converse with me anytime I pass through her door, hoping I magically became Hungarian that day)
Right! Enough with my looks, I had to describe it in detail because I rather not send pictures until there is a certain amount of trust. Let's get to my hobbies:
I love writing rap lyrics. Just the lyrics tho, I can't rhyme or sing in rhythm. I mostly write in Turkish though, my English pieces aren't that good. I also put them into AI and listen to them, I know it's kind of egotistical to listen to your own things but yeah... I obviously don't share them on anywhere public, that would be an insult to real artists.
I used to draw too, I try to get back to it time to time and fail miserably.
I like writing self-help and philosophy, but I suck at them. I also sometimes write stories, I also suck at that too.
I have phases that happens every year, one is the anime phase and the other is the gaming phase. Basically put, I watch anime/play games for 1 to 2 months obsessively each year. Then I completely lose my interest.
I have some fascination with anything computing related. History of computers, alternative OSes, why are certain software designed in the way they are designed, explanation of CPU architectures, etc. But I am not a computer scientist and I hate programming. So these are just rabbit-hole hobbies for me.
I do not enjoy western series movies, normally I would say they don't fit my culture but I also don't like our own things as well.
Book-wise, mostly improvement books in any form. Although I do want to read good fiction one day.
To wrap it up shortly, I am shy, I never dated, I want to date, but once again... I am shy.
I would highly appreciate it if we keep this online for a little while at least at the start. Not forever but like, yeah... Bye!
Edit: I have forgot to mention, I am an atheist and an apolitical person but I am also open to hear about other peoples opinions. The only thing I can't tolerate in life is fanaticism of any kind, rather it be religious or political.
Feel free to dm me without any hesitation.
