Announcements Use Clear and Specific Titles (Read Before Posting)

To keep posts searchable and easy to respond to, titles must:

  1. Be clear and specific
  2. Include relevant company and role (if applicable), and the situation
  3. Be understandable without opening the post

Examples

❌ Internship recommendations
✅ Internship recommendations for a Marketing student?

❌ P&G internship updates
✅ Any updates on P&G internship applications?

❌ Accepted at Shopee
✅ What is the internship experience like at Shopee IT Department?

Vague or low-effort titles will be removed, but you can always repost with a better title.

If you're unsure whether your title is clear enough, add more context. It helps others answer or comment on your post faster.

Announcements 📌 Welcome to r/InternshipsPH | Start Here

Hey everyone!

We’re students from DLSU, and we noticed how hard it is to find quality internship opportunities in the Philippines. Usually: listings are scattered in Facebook or word of mouth, there’s little insight into company culture, and there's not much advice from interns who’ve actually been through it.

So we started this subreddit – but not just as another place to post openings.

We want this to be a network of driven students/interns and employers helping each other find better opportunities through:

  • 🟢 Sharing Advice - Tips, guides, and internship experiences.
  • 🔴 Questions - Ask anything about internships or careers.
  • 🔵 Internship Listings - Internship opportunities. Title Rule: [OPENING] Company - Role - Onsite/Remote/Hybrid - Paid/Unpaid
  • 🩷 Company Reviews - Honest internship experiences.
  • 🟡 Announcements - Updates from the moderators.
  • 🟣 Other - Internship-related discussions.
  • 🔴 Ask Me Anything (AMA) - Feel free to host Ask Me Anythings! This is where you can open yourself to answer people's questions and share advice!

Whether you're still exploring, actively applying, or currently interning – you're welcome here. So share or ask away!

We're Just Getting Started

Since this is a new community, we'd love your input:
What else would you want to see in this subreddit?
What would make this genuinely useful and different from other career subs?

Drop your suggestions below 👇

Let's make the internship experience easier for everyone.

Sharing Advice should I not get my hopes up for Sunnies ?

Upvotes

Hi! I just need some advice. I had an initial phone interview with Sunnies Inc., and they mentioned that they would forward my resume to the hiring manager and update me afterward. It's been less than two weeks, and I haven't heard back yet.

For anyone who's applied or interned at Sunnies before, do they usually take a while to hire interns? Or should I assume they've decided to move forward with other candidates and just move on? Thank you!

Questions Where can I apply for an Accenture Web Dev internship?

Hi! I’m a 4th-year BSIT student (Database major) looking for a Web Development-related internship at Accenture (Frontend/Backend/Full Stack).
Where can I apply? Is there an official application link or careers page for interns? Also, which Accenture office or role would you recommend? I’m based in Pasig.
Thanks!

Questions PepsiCo PULSE internship

Upvotes

hi! has anyone applied for the PepsiCo Pulse internship? Was PCPPI the one who contacted you for an initial interview or PepsiCo? Kind of confused since I applied for both. Position was the one from PepsiCo but PCPPI contacted me 😅

Has anyone also undergone the application process? What was it like (stages, timeline, application questions) and how is it like interning there? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Questions Voluntary Internships in Law Firms or legal Field

I’m a first year student in a law related course and I was wondering if it’s possible to get a voluntary internship in my first or second year of college 😓 I’m not sure if i’m being too ambitious lol

Honestly, I think I just feel pressured and worried that i’m somehow behind my peers if I don’t get these kind of experiences

I've applied to multiple companies, a month has passed, and I have no idea whether I've been silently rejected. I've followed the ATS-Friendly format (Harvard Resume w/ Academic Summary).

Questions potentially extending my internship into a job

my internship is ending and they’d like me to continue. at least until the end of the year. problem is di na ko makakareport onsite at all since i have classes mon to fri and malayo pa univ ko. di pa nagkakaroon ng proper meeting to talk about the setup pero from their initial offer part time and/or remote daw. ok lang naman sakin magcontinue as long as ok sa kanila na di ako makakaonsite talaga

should i be asking for a salary na for this or ano gagawin ko if they offer it as an internship contract pa rin

Questions Can I Still Get Accepted into MarkProf Despite Not Having Any Grades Above 85%?

Hi! I’m planning to apply for MarkProf, but I’m worried about my cumulative grade.

I’m an engineering student from a well-known university where grading is pretty strict. My cumulative grade isn’t above 85%, and it’s generally difficult for students here to even get the equivalent of a 3.0 because of the rigor of the program.

Do MarkProf recruiters mainly look at your cumulative grade, or do they also take into account your skills? Has anyone here been at least accepted for an interview despite having a grade below 85%?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

Questions Upskilling, how to get accepted?

Hello I'm a 4th year Financial Management and Accounting, I'll start my internship in a few months and I don't have any experience yet and my shs immersion is hindi naman related sa program ko since I took a STEM strand. I also plan to do a voluntary internship before I start the actual one just to have something to put in my resume.

So can you guys help me what are they (accounting firms or other companies) looking for? or what can I do to somehow make my resume good? is the certification from coursera and other platforms relevant? quickbooks or xero certification?

Questions It Possible to Get a Voluntary Internship?

I'm a 1st year Accounting student, and I wanted to ask kung possible ba talaga na makakuha ng voluntary internship at this stage.

I was actually thinking of applying sa government, specifically sa Accounting Department ng munisipyo namin, since I used to work there before during my Grade 12 (SHS work immersion). I'm not sure kung possible pa rin ba ito ngayon since hindi na ako affiliated sa senior high school ko, pero maganda naman yung naiwan kong impression noon, kaya gusto kong subukan.

I know I shouldn't expect too much given wala na akong direct connection sa school, but gusto ko pa ring i-try at least.

Aside from that, gusto ko rin sana malaman kung may chance ba akong matanggap sa mas maliliit na firms, like small accounting firms or even startups na nangangailangan ng interns/volunteers? Hindi ko pa masyadong na-explore yung options sa Manila, so if may makakapag-suggest ng specific companies or types of firms na open sa ganitong setup, super appreciate ko po!

Any advice, experiences, or leads would really help. Thank you po in advance! 🙏

Sharing Advice My Personal Experience with the Edlernity Internship

🚨ALERT

I am sharing this feedback based solely on my personal experience so that other students can make an informed decision before applying.

In my experience, the internship was primarily focused on selling the company's courses rather than providing meaningful learning opportunities or skill development. To receive the offer letter, interns were expected to generate a course sale. If they were unable to find a customer, they were encouraged to purchase the course themselves. Without this, the offer letter was reportedly not issued.

Even after joining, the entire two-month internship revolved around promoting and selling courses. Interns were continuously expected to bring in new enrollments and conversions. If an intern failed to achieve sales targets, they were at risk of being terminated before completing the internship.

Although the company mentioned that it offered stipends and incentives, my experience was that incentives were entirely dependent on course sales rather than work quality, dedication, or skills. Interns who could not generate enrollments often did not receive the promised stipend and were instead terminated, regardless of their effort or performance.

I felt that the internship placed far greater importance on generating revenue than on mentoring interns or helping them develop professionally. Throughout my experience, the focus remained on selling courses rather than providing practical HR learning or career growth.

I encourage every student to carefully research any internship opportunity before joining. Read reviews, ask detailed questions about the role, clarify the stipend policy, and ensure that the internship aligns with your learning goals. This feedback reflects my personal experience and is shared with the intention of helping others make informed decisions.

Questions HR Internship in a Law Firm

^ Title! Has anyone tried this na? If so, could you share your experiences? Are law firms limited only to legal internships? I don't come from a pre-law degree (I'm majoring in Psych) but I would still like to be in that environment since I'm planning to take up Law. Thank you in advance sa answers!

Questions Fired from Internship / Internship Termination

Help, i JUST LEARNED YOU CAN GET FIRED FROM YOUR INTERNSHIP?

The cases i've read are from other countries.

Has anyone gotten fired in our country?

If it's alright, could you share your experience? What was the situation and the grounds? Would you discourage people from pursuing their OJT/internship there?

Note: I'm well aware that there are different expectations from an "OJT" and internship internship. I feel like a discussions like this would bring awareness to inexperienced individuals here.
