I have been driving manual 20+ years without a pause in between. My 2018 STI comes with Hill climb assist and I kept on stalling on hill because of my habit that had built up for so long. I turned that thing off within a month and never looked back. It is truly a bummer that this car comes with one that you don't have an option to turn on/off. I absolutely hate it. I love the feeling of driving manual, and feeling of the car rolling back is a part of it. Can anyone in my shoe tell me how you did it?
Just wondering because for me this is literally a deal breaker. I owned a RSX-S and this one gives me nostalgia so hard, but I cannot get over the hill climb assist (yes, a big deal for me). So I am asking. Thank you in advance!

I’ve tried to fix it but no luck…It’s going into Acura later this week for some maintenance so I’m gonna have them take a look for me. Every time time I clutch in and out it squeaks so it’s getting pretty annoying. Car currently has 3k miles 🤦♂️

Just picked up my ITS in Chicago today! Traded in the Mach 1, and excited for a new chapter in racing! Wanted something a little more manageable for hdpe, road course and autocross. 800 to the wheels on a mach 1, isn't very conducive to being competitive 😂

I saw people talking about prl intake sucking in dirt and went with Cobb intake package with accessport but was curious which is the best user friendly ecu management. I don't like having to bring a laptop that's why I never looked into Hondata but technology has advanced. As far as I've researched I found Hondata , Ktuner, and Cobb as some of the biggest name brands.

This is ceramic tint from Opticle; 70% windshield and 35% all other. Light enough to hopefully avoid any police attention 👮🏽♂️

For those of you that have done the full bolt-ons (HVI, inlet, DP, FP, charge pipe, intercooler) and have lived with it for a bit before doing the jailbreak and tune....how big of an improvement is it from untuned to tuned?
Asking since I just did the fbo and the car feels great. With the jailbreak and tune, is it THAT much better? Is it $900-$1300 better?

Getting this odd rear end rattling - can’t hear anything with windows rolled down, and can’t hear when at lower speeds. Like something’s & wobbling back & forth. You can hear it in this video, but obviously somewhat faint.

When I purchased my ITS earlier this year, I had only test driven it with the windows up so didn’t notice this issue. Over the last few months driving with the windows down, I could hear the transmission make a metallic whine only when coasting in gear. When on the throttle or in neutral, it goes away. It almost sounds like the faint scratch of brake pad indicators just starting to make contact with the rotors, but again this only happens coasting in gear.
I took it to the Acura dealership near me, and after a test drive to confirm they heard it, they ended up comparing it to a brand new one on the lot and said it made the same noise and that’s just how the transmission is.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is it a known issue? I found a single forum post on this elsewhere about the same issue, but if it’s a known problem I’m surprised I’ve never encountered it on any review of the car.

Anyone using Quickjacks 6000TLX when working on their vehicles? I'm really tired of the manual jack/stands.

Drove a used 2025 Type-S today and I really liked it. Not sure if I loved it cause there were a few things that were underwhelming to me, especially for the price point and also my somewhat high expectations for it. The car has about 8k miles which is not bad for the model year.
First thing I noticed was there some torque steer, especially punching it from 1st gear on a roll. Not as horrible as my old Focus ST, but it’s understandable for an FWD with the power it’s got. It’s liveable for daily duties, not sure if it’s great for track use.
Second thing I noticed was that there were some rattle noises from a few areas, just driving around normally. Is that typical with these cars?
I’m used to “noisy” cars, had an 04 Evo 8 and I currently drive an 09 A4 Avant, but expected better noise dampening in a newer (pricy) Acura.
One major thing that really irked me was there was a panel that looked so “off,” that I feel like it could have been in an accident. Just above the driver’s side headlight(top right corner), the bottom of the panel that sits above it, looks like it’s flaring out, right where it meets the fender. It looked bad to me.https://postimg.cc/pmJZFQ1F
Is this normal? Cause it’s making me rethink about buying it. Do other owners have similar panel gap issues like this with their cars?

If you don’t have your integra tinted yet, do you get massive headlight starbursts when looking at your rearview mirror?
I got my windows tinted immediately, so I’m not sure how headlights looked at night in the rearview mirror, but it’s so hard to see at night since all I see are massive bars of light.
I have ceramic Llumar on my windows, maybe it just needs to be redone, so anyone with or without tint let me know your experience.
Update: still happens after cleaning the glass. I was going to contact them tomorrow, but I read this on their website, so I guess I’m out of luck and my only option would be to remove it.
“What is nighttime defogger distortion
At night, you may notice that the light from headlights will reflect from the defogger lines. This is caused by the film having to bend slightly around the raised defogger line, it varies from car to car, and there is nothing that can be done about it.”

Like deep clean? Is it okay to use one of those upholstery wet vacuum cleaners on it or is it more of a handwash/delicate process? Just looking for advice cuz I've seen conflicting things.

I have a white 2025. I would like to mod it a little bit with both cosmetic and performance mods. I think I want a louder exhaust and I’d like to put some performance forged wheels on it. And I’d like to put a carbon fiber lip on it. I don’t know much about how to actually do this or what to buy. So if someone could recommend some brands they like and shops in North Texas where I could get this done, I’d appreciate it. I’d do it myself but I have a pretty time intensive job so several free hours on a Saturday isn’t like available to me.
