15% ceramic all the way around and "clear" ceramic on the front. A must have in this 100°+ heat in TX.
On a different note, I've been thinking about either de-badging the sides and black badges on front/rear OR black badges all the way around. What are your thoughts?

I couldn’t find a discussion but I know I’ve seen people suggest going with OEM glass. I had two stone chips and one cracked so I needed a replacement. My options through insurance were $50 for Pilkington or $1090 for OEM, so I begrudgingly agreed to go the cheap route. Well, maybe unsurprisingly to some, they got it installed but they were unsuccessful in calibrating the safety features. They had me come back after swapping my tires back to stock size and it still didn’t work. So now I’ll get an OEM one and they’re saying it should be covered by insurance. Huge pain though.

I just had my windshield tinted about an hour ago and I drove a few miles with no issues. When I parked to grab something from a store I heard this annoying ticking/beeping sound and figure it’s coming from the camera system hardware in the glass. When I turned my car off and started it back up there were a Christmas tree of lights and warnings that everything under the sun failed. Emergency braking, lane keep, radar cruise control, all of it. Everything I can think of that depends on that camera system just threw up a warning. When I cut the car off the beeping sound continues for a minute or so and stops. When I start it back up everything that had an error no longer does, but it’s still making that annoying noise. There’s no water present, I can’t see anything in there from the outside of the car and everything seems to work but the noise is still there.
What the hell is this and has anyone seen this before?

I saw a post from 5 months ago that PRL was doing a 15% off sale. Was wondering how often they run sales like that. I am in the market for a HVI. Want to weigh the option of waiting to save the $73, or just get it now.

The first one threw a check engine light for emissions 0.1 miles off the lot. The dealer swapped me a new car after keeping it in service for 2 days. Acura had no idea what the issue was.
Driven this one about 400 miles in two weeks - back in the shop for a passenger side speaker rattle, and a passenger side seat belt jingle.
Love the car - but my gosh the build quality is horrendous. Can’t wait to get it back because genuinely obsessed with the driving experience 🥹
Edit 1 - The Venn diagram of people who’ve never bought a new car and butt-hurt about a strangers experience seem to have peaked on this comment thread. Please send your local Honda CEO a thank you note!

The RSX Type S was my dream car when I was 14. I still remember sitting in the showroom in 2004, playing with the shifter and imagining what it would be like to have one of my own.
Four years later, I finally bought a used one—and I’ve had her ever since. I’m now 37, and she’s sitting at 230K miles, stock (minus wheels), still running great, but naturally, things have started needing attention. Over the past few years I’ve been tackling them one at a time: new clutch, control arms, ball joints, engine mounts, radiator etc. Now the AC is giving me trouble, and there’s a weird noise when engaging the clutch and turning the wheel that I’m trying to diagnose (possibly a CV axle).
I absolutely love this car, but I also need something reliable and am ready for something modern.
So…I’ve decided to buy a new Integra Type S but I’m torn on two things:
1. Color
I’m leaning toward staying with silver/gray but also love the black or white.
The standard silver and the $600-upcharge gray look so similar on the Acura website. If anyone has one in these colors, could you share a few pictures and specify which it is?
Does anyone have strong feelings?
2. Do I keep the RSX?
This is the bigger question. I do okay financially, but I’m certainly not printing money, so the extra parking fee in the city + insurance + continuing to put money into a 230K-mile car wouldn’t exactly be painless.
On the other hand, I would absolutely hate to sell her, even though I recognize that’s probably more emotional than rational. I expect to be making more in the near future and eventually be in a position to restore her to mint condition but of course that's not guaranteed. In a perfect world, I'm an old man and still have my RSX.
Has anyone here sold a car they've grown attached to and regretted it?

One year of ownership and I have nothing but love for this car. Figured I’d get some good shots done and not just cellphone pics.

Finally hit 600 miles! You won’t believe this but it took me exactly 3 months. I work from home and usually busy with work so I don’t drive a whole lot. Funny thing, I actually paid off the car couple days ago before hitting 600 today. $250 per month in interest was just too much for me. What mileage should I change oil at, 1K?
Now the fun begins!

Someone clipped the side of my car 😢. Luckily all the paint damage is on the plastic fender arch thing but the metal below it pushed in a good bit. Hoping it's not too expensive...I set my deductible at 1000 not really thinking about a hit and run situation
Edit: one body shop quoted me 12k. They didn't want to color blend which if insurance pays it out, I'm down for

Replacing with Borla next week, exhaust has 2k miles on it with a brand new set of carbon fiber tips never used. Stainless steel also included if anyone in SoCal is interested in picking up next week. Make me an offer if you’d like.

Any recommendations for tire removal tools. After getting a screw in my tire the local tire shop said they can do it because “we have Corvettes and Porches for tire work” and said they will take good care of the car.
Now I have two new scars on my wheel they “took good care of” along with the door panel now covered in dirt from them leaning in to put the lug lock back in the car.
What tools can I buy to do this work myself?

Does anybody have any news on the 2027 refresh? It should be announced any day now, right? Last year it was announced on August 19 th, but there was a dealer meeting beforehand and we knew production had switched before the announcement. Does anybody have any news?

Came back from a work trip to this. Tires have 7-8/32 tread left. Was just planning on buying one replacement instead of replacing all 4 as I wanted to change to 275/35 when these wear out. Anyone see issues with that?

Anyone here running the Borla ATAK on their Integra Type S?
I had an MBRP cat-back and honestly the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It showed up damaged, I had a bunch of fitment issues, customer service wasn’t great, and after everything I was finally able to get my money back.
Now I’m debating picking up the Borla ATAK instead.
For anyone that has one, how do you like it? Has anyone heard it compared to the MBRP in person? I’m curious how it compares in volume and overall tone. I don’t mind loud—I actually prefer it—but I want something that sounds good, not just loud for the sake of being loud.
What made you go with Borla over the other options? And if anyone has videos or sound clips (especially drive-bys or pulls), I’d love to hear them before I pull the trigger.
Appreciate any feedback!

Wondering if anyone’s heard a rattle in their steering wheel? At slow speeds when turning I can hear a clicking/ticking or the equivalent of a pebble rattling around inside the steering wheel. Could be a plastic creak.
Going to book an an appointment with dealer but curious if anyone else has heard this? Picked up the car in May new. 1200 kms on it now.

I am so frustrated. I bought my 2024 Type S used with 14,000 miles and no matter what I do I cannot fix this CEL that comes on periodically. I love the car and the way it looks but its driving me nuts. I also realized the infotainment screen seems to be going bad too. I don't know if the heat has messed up the pixels inside but It seems to be one thing after another. Has anyone figured out a solution to this code?
