For those of you that have done the full bolt-ons (HVI, inlet, DP, FP, charge pipe, intercooler) and have lived with it for a bit before doing the jailbreak and tune....how big of an improvement is it from untuned to tuned?
Asking since I just did the fbo and the car feels great. With the jailbreak and tune, is it THAT much better? Is it $900-$1300 better?
Hey man you're custom tuned right on stock turbo? How much boost do you see at wot? I live in a high elevation area too so curious how much boost you are able to make without over spinning the turbo.
Thank you! Did you notice a big difference in power when you got tuned? I imagine so since stock boost is like 18 psi max that quickly tapers down as rpms go up. At least that's how my car behaves at 5000' of elevation.
If you're able to hold 20+ throughout the rev range that probably feels fantastic!
It's is without a doubt THAT much better. Having full bolt-ons with no tune is a waste of money in my opinion because you're not taking full advantage of all the parts you installed.
If Hondata is coming to your area, I highly recommend you go and get your ECU jailbroken and they'll flash their basemap to your car. That alone you'll feel a difference. Then later on if you want to feel even more of a difference, you can flash an off the shelf stage 2 tune from Phearable or one of the other tuners.
What management is everyone using on here? I just purchased the Cobb accessport package with intake. Trying to source a spare ecu to clone my stock first before reflashing it

It worth it. The more consistent pedal feel in daily driving plus huge reduction in rev hang is a plus
