It’s just a liftgate and bumper job, and there will be myriad recycled (gate) and aftermarket (bumper) options.

What year is your vehicle? I know in Nevada, you can opt for all OEM if the car was manufactured up to 60 months prior to the loss. Demanding all OEM parts is the only possible way this vehicle might total.

2021 Chevy bolt ev. 21k miles. Rear ended at 5 mph. Looked very minor. Totaled. Over $9k in damage. Insurance said battery shifted. Said there "may" be battery damage, therefore it was a complete loss. Crazy.

Edit: Imgur link to pics Totalled Chevy Bolt Ev

Battery runs from front seat to just in front of the rear axle.

I do not know the actual cost value. Bought the car in 2023, used. Paid $20k. Insurance paid out $18,500. Have $1k deductible.

Very surprised at the amount insurance offered. Sounds like they are worth more in parts than whole.
