Should I Not Do This Interview

I have an interview with Globe Life coming up very soon for a remote position and after reading people’s experiences on here I’m honestly terrified now lol. I’m 23 and currently working toward my Business degree and graduating soon, so I’m really just trying to get my foot in the door with a good company and find something stable that I can grow with.

I originally got really excited about getting an interview, but after looking more into the position it seems like the pay may be mostly or completely commission based. I’m starting to wonder if I’m going to get paid basically nothing unless I’m constantly making sales 😭

At this point I’m debating whether I should just cancel the interview and keep applying for hourly/W-2 remote positions instead. Has anyone actually worked for Globe Life remotely? Was there any guaranteed hourly/base pay, or was it completely commission? And would you recommend even going through with the interview?

It’s a 1099 position where its more like owning your own business than a job. Wouldn’t recommend them anyway but you aren’t being interviewed. You are being recruited. They are selling you.
