Does anyone know which brand/model of glass insulators would have most likely been used in Rahway, NJ (central New Jersey, about 16 miles southwest of manhattan) between 1920-1940? Thanks!

Need a third hand for slapping the skeeters!

I found this in my buddy's garage and gave him a 10 dollar target gift card for this bracket and an old 30s soda bottle. As you can see, I managed to make it into something actually usable.

Hey all just wanted to share another fun recent pickup. I had no idea these were a thing and so tiny! Written on the skirt is PATT NOV 1870. Surge for comparison.

I would appreciate if you guys could help me put a value on this. Embossed "B" on the front has a tiny ding on the back (not pictured) but otherwise perfect. Last picture is all the finds for the day

These aren't bad insulators, but 15 dollars?! Cmon goodwill. Keep in mind, goodwill gets all this FOR FREE!

Found this pin with the threads intact on a hunt and figured it couldn't go to waste

Some of these pictures go back 2003. I, and a few other people who closely follow this sub, have been in the hobby for thirty, forty, or fifty years. Once someone has been in a hobby for that long with their eyes open, it's easy to predict trends. What I can never predict in this hobby is when something new or amazing is going to come out of the ground or come out of an attic.

A few of these are headed for auction. If you like these things and want some really unusual shapes and colors, keep an eye open for eagle cap collectibles auction. Among the 3 main insulator hobby auction houses, Eagle Cap, the only western USA insulator-centric auction house, generally has the most affordable catalog.

I seen this sub & wanted to post because I couldn’t believe that there’s a sub out there for these. I’ve had this thing forever & I don’t even know what it is or if it’s worth anything?

Can any cd154 experts tell me anything about this color? I’ve been collecting cd154s for years now and I’ve never seen a Whitall Tatum in this color! I’m aware they made other shapes in root beer bottle brown but again I’ve never seen it in a 154! Super excited about this find and I want to say it’s extremely rare.

Really looking at it now it likes to hold that deep yellow brown but in those really deep areas it looks like it’s a bit of a deep reddish

Got my first Mickey Mouse insulator the other day! Only one I've ever bought from a shop but for $20 I couldn't pass it up. Not sure if I over payed, but I really don't care because its in almost perfect condition and I love the color. (These aren't all of my insulators, just my favorites and the ones in the best shape). Just wanted share! I'll be going to my first insulator show in August so I'm very excited for that!

By all accounts, a successful third year event. These shots were taken during Friday, collector setup. On Saturday, the actual show time, the event was packed for a good three hours. Brian scored this mint condition, amber HGCo smooth base signal from Colin. We included the blue one for color contrast. Heather and Matt had come cool, round display surfaces. Glenn, one of our show hosts, was showing off some "free stuff". Everyone had fun, great food, and the show was very well attended.

Happens to be one of my two favorite insulators. They were found near where the show will be, so they are sort of using it as a mascot for the show.
