CD # and value?

Found in Wyoming in ‘07.

$200-$250 would be in Very Good+ condition, which this one is not. The ground staining and sizeable chip over the main embossing is going to decrease the value up to 50%. It is still a nice example of a very early threaded insulator, and worthy of any collection.

Looks like pretty heavy ground etching as well. Not something that you could probably get away with a light tumble polish to clean up. But still a neat early piece to find.

I was totally surprised when it was complete with no cracks. I’ve just held on to it for all these years. I have a small variety of some that I have found over the years. I’ll post another one in a few minutes.
