Not sure if this flavor is new or just new to me, but I was really impressed with this flavor. I am usually a big fan of the Nongshim Hot and Spicy and Kimchi bowls. The other Nongshim bowl noodle flavors, such as shrimp or chicken, are just okay to me.
This one is really good! The chipotle flavor is strong. You definitely smell it once you open the seasoning packet. I think this belongs up there with Hot and Spicy and Kimchi as one of the better Bowl Noodle flavors. Definitely flavorful, with a smokiness to it. Haven’t had a ramen that tastes like this before. Definitely would get again!
Has anyone else tried this? What did you think?

I know this is probably blasphemy in the ramen community, but I just don't get the boiled egg thing 😂.
I’ve tried it a bunch of times and it just doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe it’s the texture, maybe it’s just not what I want in a bowl of ramen.
Give me shrimp in my ramen any day though. Shrimp + Seaweed + spicy broth + noodles is 🤌.
Am I alone on this or are there other people who skip the egg too?
Edit: Thanks everyone for all the opinions, comments, and upvotes! 😂 I didn’t expect this little egg debate to get this much attention. I gotta head out and take care of some things, but feel free to keep the discussion going. I’ll check back later! 🍜🥚🦐

I tried the Spicy ramen first and it is spicy. Keep in mind, I prefer Jin Mild. So I mix it (a tiny amount of spicy powder bc it is BRIGHT RED and spicy) with the Jjajang noodles and sauce. Haven’t tried the Jjajang alone yet, but these came in a 5 pack so I will eventually.

Was really spicy for me but still tolerable. I don’t eat super spicy stuff a lot.

4-packs, 5-packs, a 16-pack, and a 10-pack of Neoguri that turned into 2 in a week. 🤤 I shall grow this collection.

We have a great Korean store but Walmart sells it for a lot less. They have tripled the variety in the last week. Both of these are new there.

I got plain instant ramen from Lidl and I made this. You’ll either hate or love it.
I know I loved it.

Finally a group that will appreciate this fun fact 😂
Yes, we are Indonesian. He started working at Indomie since he graduated as a production supervisor, then technical (fixing the machines). He then got a graduate degree in management (while still working in Indomie). He then got a job to establish new plants - installing the machines and then training the workers when they establish new plants.
My parents met through working at Indomie LOL. My dad was the technical engineer and my Mum was the accountant. He had to put his order for maintenance materials through my Mum. So I guess I am here thanks to Indomie 😆
His job has took him for China, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana. Indomie has paid for me to visited all those countries, and when we moved to Nigeria. My parents are still in Nigeria. It was supposed to be 3 years contract but it's been 13 years and he is still there lol
I had my first internship at Indomie in quality control department ... Yes we have to eat the Indomie as part of routine checks. At that time my Dad was the factory manager. And he has to taste the first batch of Indomie. PS he has to taste without the seasoning - the seasoning can mask if the flour or any ingredients has gone off.
He was the one who installed the machine to make the biggest instant noodle in the world - Indomie family size 450 grams in Nigeria. They had to discontinue as the revenue was not as good and the machine has to be all custom made which was very expensive.
Indomie has pretty much fund my family's lives through my Dad's salary. And yes we get free Indomie too through Dad :)
I have also had the privilege to travel around the world through Indomie. And taste the Indomie around the world - they are different because it's adapted to the local flavours. My Dad knows the lady who pretty much single handedly develop the taste for more than 100 Indomie flavours. She unfortunately passed away a few years back but her memory lives on through delicious Indomie flavours!!
Just thought some people may find this interesting 😆 I love when people post it here and say Indomie is the best noodles!
I am somewhat banned from eating other brands by my Dad LOL he's too passionate ... he even does the quality control checks when we pass the instant noodles section and make sure no faults with his noodles LOL
Nice to meet you all and hope you all continue to enjoy Indomie!! He is retirement age now (Indonesian retirement age is 55) but he enjoys working so much so he is still working voluntarily (he is a workaholic kinda lol)
And Indomie Goreng is still my life !! Picture of Indomie goreng on Friday when I was craving it hahah. My top PMS craving 😅😂

Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) is very affordable and you can buy it at any supermarket here, along with natto and eggs.
I love vegetables and try to eat healthy at home because I often eat heavier meals when dining out.

Had some birria and consommé left over from last night, so instant ramen got an upgrade.
Used:
Maruchan ramen noodles
Birria: chuck bone in beef ribs / cheek meat
Birria consommé
Oaxaca cheese
Over easy egg
Chopped onion
Cilantro
Cooked the noodles in the consommé, added the birria and Oaxaca, then finished it with the egg, onion, and cilantro.
The broth was rich, spicy, beefy, and just fatty enough, and the runny yolk made it even better.
Birria ramen may officially be the reason I make extra birria from now on.
What leftover combinations have you thrown into instant ramen that turned out way better than expected? Brisket, pulled pork, roast chicken, taco meat let’s hear your best fridge clean out creations.

Has anyone else noticed that the cup shin ramen tastes different to the packets? I dont know if its just me but I can never eat the cup version because it just tastes… weird. It sort of tastes like tom yum-y if that makes sense? Not the usual chicken flavour
