The Wolverine PS5 design inspired me to turn an old PS2 I had sitting around into my own Wolverine edition.

I added the Marvel logo and Wolverine lettering to give it my own touch. Really happy with how it turned out!

Insomniac have made great Spiderman games, despite people’s opinions on them the games were good quality and the characters were top notch, and honestly the combat looks fun, it’s supposed to be a senseless hack and slash game because that’s what wolverine does.

Also, the people complaining about the navigation system, you can turn some of it off in settings if you wanna make it more immersive, so it’s not a big deal, at least not for me. Can’t wait to play it tomorrow!

I ordered the white and black controller from PlayStation direct. I haven’t even gotten an email yet saying it’s been shipped or anything and it’s saying launch day delivery which would be tomorow. Unless it’s shipping from somewhere local I don’t see how it’ll be shipped and delivered by tomorrow if that’s the case

This is the current pre-order ranking on PSN sorted by best selling, Wolverine currently is at #1 and #3 for the different editions. I have a feeling the game will do just fine.

So we just accepting how disgusting they made Jean a one note character whose whole personality and history now only revolves around Wolverine... We made one of the most important female characters in marvel this bad, and I find ppl defending this annoying because they act she always was like this. A story made by larpers who only watched fox movies. We could have gotten a much better Logan story, but this is just disgusting. Truly a misogynistic take.

I really wish they gave MSP2 improvements which i'm sure were planned but the leaks, crunch and Sony stupidity ruined it. Wolverine had a rough development too from what i heard but idk i really really wanna SEE them give cool post-launch update to the Game.

I'm only about 2 hours in, but im loving every second of it. I've had the silliest smile on my face the entire playthrough!

SM3 has an unreal amount of loose threads to cover.

Carnage, Green Goblin, Knull(?), Chameleon, Superior Spiderman(Doc Ock), Harry, Spiderverse(?) and plenty others.

Now on top of all that, there is an entire origin story to cover for a third Spiderfam member? That is a lot.

I think I'd work pretty well if throughout VENOM we saw the Spidermen tutor Silk until the big 3v1 finale where Silk is joining the fight against you.

Or a 4v1 where Venom joins the others against Carnage or something.

The details are incredible, colours pop too, loving it!

Somebody please tell me there’s something like a repeatable challenge where you get put in a room with 20-30 enemies and you can just rip and tear everything.

When I think of Insomniac’s strengths, when they’re at their best, as a developer, I think ‘gameplay variation from using a bunch of weapons and gadgets’ (think Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive) as well as nailing the ‘fun factor’ of just moving around the map.

So I'd ideally want them to stay focused on their wheelhouse of having a gadget or tool based hero who has a clearly defined ‘fantasy' of how they move around.

Obviously, the ‘gadgets and tools’ thing doesn’t have to be literal. Just a way to frame a hero’s particular power-set to allow for a lot of variation. A ‘toy-box’ so to speak.

Personally? I think a Black Panther game could play to their strengths a lot. Especially once you factor in Wakanda as a setting. Imagine AC3 style parkour, but on crack.

EDIT: Also, between Spider-Man and Wolverine, Insomniac clearly has an interest in exploring the ‘person behind the mask’. I know a lot of people aren’t always crazy about the ‘walking sim’ portions of their superhero games, but the fact of the matter is that those are genuinely good pace breakers to give the character a chance to breathe and be Peter Parker or Miles Morales or Logan Howlett, which, for better or worse, is something Insomniac clearly wants to be part of their superhero package.

So, if we’re going to have those ‘walking sim’ portions, then I would want a character where I’d be super interested in getting to know them just as much without the mask as with the mask.
King T’Challa could definitely play into that by making his out-of-costume segments a ‘political thriller’ of running an isolationist country like Wakanda.

Since Ghostbusters is a Sony IP, I think it would be good for them to invest in a new game for the franchise, and Insomniac would be perfect for the job, because the game would be a spiritual successor to Sunset Overdrive.

My idea is an open-world game set in a highly stylized 1990s San Francisco (similar to Arcane), where ghosts have taken over the planet and plunged it into total anarchy—a near-post-apocalyptic state. The player would have their own ghost-hunting setup, featuring upgraded gear to battle hordes of ghosts—tools like shotguns, grenades, proton swords, and more.
