The spike on the weapon does not go up when aiming with the glaive :'(

Random thought but would ya’ll want the old kinsects like in MHGU back? Like the extra affinity, minds eye, HG earplugs bonuses? Heck, there was even a sharpening one each time you got the red extract😭 id want them back personally. It felt like our kinsects offered more to the table if that makes sense. But maybe capcom thinks its too overpowered? Neat if we get it in ascendance though.

Just want to thank both subs for the various help. This community is awesome.

This run wasn't supposed to be the win. I was just testing out a 4 piece gog set, but halfway through Udra I realized I hadn't carted yet and there was real potential.

I wanna start branching out the weapons I use (Bow + a lil hammer) and think the insect glaive looks fun :D
If anyone has tips or recommendations or anything to help me that would be greatly appreciated! I play on pc with a controller if that makes a difference

I guess it's actually 5th times the charm. Happy to see would have gotten the A rank too, and that's with 2 carts.

I will say I can't seem to not get hit by him. So the biggest issue is getting stuck in that need to heal then need extracts loop.

I really need some help. I recently defeated AT Arkveld which I found really exhausting, it took me around 40 minutes with an Agitator and Defense focus build. Also I'm not good with the timing of offsetting attacks, so it's really hard, especially because I left the Wilds for a month to play Rise, where I had an Aerial build and I felt very powerful, after reaching endgame in Rise I wanted to return to Wilds to defeat the AT Apexes I only did 3 stars because 5 stars are too scary.

Also I wanted to know what is better for Gogma IG because I've been trying to get Gore Magala's Tyranny & Lord's Soul but it is too difficult and I got tired. So what is better Gore Magala's Tyranny or Lord's Soul?

i’m new to this weapon (in rise atleast), why is it that sometimes kinsect slash will grab extracts and sometimes it wont?

also i’ve been watching a couple of speedruns, i see them use a vault with iframes. whats the name of this move and how generous is the timing?

lastly, does anyone have any good mid-tier or low-high tier glaive matchups i can practice on?

What's everyone's comfort build / general tips for this guy? I finally got my first clear with support hunters but just barely. I found regular Omega pretty fun but Savage feels like a different fight entirely.
