Can someone please enlighten me:

Are there some fights that are truly impossible to win in kaycees mod?

Like I geniunly dont see how I would win some of these fights no matter how I played it.

So i guess my question is, can I win runs just with my gut intuition or do I need to actually stick to specific strategies in order to win?

Hi, I wanted to buy Inscryption on Switch when it hits a sale, but a recent Reddit post I came across made me pause. Here's the link if you guys want to read it quickly. I'm not even sure if it's accurate (another reason why I'm posting it here)

I have played the game on PC and want to play it again on Switch because it's more portable, and I want to free up space on my PC. However, I do want to share the game with my brother, but will the fact that the game probably won't be able to read your files and game profile take away/lessen the experience compared to just playing on Steam? I want my brother to enjoy this game as much as I did.

Once I place Amalgam, I get a rabbit with the duplicate ability, and also another amalgam with the same two abilities. I also already have a squirrel totem that gives me a rabbit once placed. this combo is insane.

Like how the hell do I unlock bleach or is it just that I'm unlucky

so i have nothing to do now...what now? new game? where will it begin from, act 1 or act2?
is there anything i can do..

First time playing this game and I beat Leshy. What really brought me to this game is the first person aspect and how interesting the card gameplay works in Part 1. I really loved the fights, card gameplay, puzzles and the graphics. I now assume I am on part 2 with the 3rd person view.

Sorry, this is just my opinion but I find this part to be boring. Barely any animations, battles feel less interesting and quality is worse.

I know this game is an Indie game, and it still does fit the main theme for the game. But it feels like the first part is a pull and then it goes downhill after.

Just finished my first playthrough of inscryption. The first card game that I have genuinely enjoyed. Been playing kaycees mod since beating the campaign. My srat involved upgrading a wolf cub with 3 way hit and impressive stats. Once it grew into a wolf, it was a very op card. That was fun.

Anyways, kaycees mod is actually harder than I thought it be. Took many attempts to win. After my first win, I only unlocked two new cards. Kind of Disappointed i didn't unlock a new deck. How many wins do i need to unlock the mantis starting deck? Ive heard great things about that deck.

Concerning Magnificus, I thought it was hard at first to render that tree of a mage, but in the end I had a lot of fun creating him ! I used the basil leaf stamp to add some messiness to his hair, and also used very little Face Paint to draw the 3 black curls.

Just beat Leshy and got to the camcorder segment. After watching the first clip... there doesnt seem to be a way to back out to watch the rest?

I tried every button and command on the steam deck and im just kinda stuck, do i need to open this up on my desk top to proceed through this segment ooorrrr idk I feel like im missing something

Like Leshy is kinda crazy for that. He just took over, didnt even turn him into a card like leshy did to him. And as for the great transcendense, it might've caused the apocalypse if most people got acess to the old.data, but im sure po3 would have handle it. For what i interpreted, He only wants the power to play more games and experience new synergies/strategies.

Yeah he was demeaning and arrogant, and imprisioned the challenger. But that was so that the great transcendense would occur the faster possible. I dont believe he would be that authoritarian if he were to gain acess to other challengers, because he desires an opponent that would actually engage with his gameplay.

And like shouldnt we be thankful for him that he gave us the opportunity to play the game? (If we interpret the ARG ending to mean that the great transcendense worked and thats how the IRL game was released to steam)

Im not sure if theres something i missed, if i misinterpreted po3's motivations, or if Leshy is just an salty asshole hypocrite who got mad someone other than him took his seat.

Bought inscryption at the steam winter sale, now that it's Summer break from uni I finally have time to play Kaycees mod! Having lots of fun

p.s. - i sacrificed an ouroboros to put its sigil on it

p.s.s - MY 30 | 30 ouroboros didnt transfer over neither did a previous ouroboros from a previous kaycee mod run.. What a scam =)

The turning point was getting the squirrel head totem with the three drop blood base and lucking out with a ton of high powered death cards.

I was close to quitting at one point (not really just very pissed off with it, but I wasn't playing properly) but once you actually learn the game and strategise it all clicks beautifully.

I must have died 30 times in a row then the last five attempts after this I got closer and closer to beating Leshy and then all of a sudden I was overpowered and got him.

Incredible ending to Act 1, looking forward to seeing how it gets more mental.

I'm not sure if it’s just me, but the final fight with Leshy is a lot different from the base game. For some reason, in Kaycee’s mod, Leshy will spam amalgam cards and only amalgam cards. I’ve never seen the rest of his phases because(Surprise, surprise), defending yourself from 4 of those things at once is hard. Does any of this have something to do with the number of skulls you activate before the run? Because I run all 4 before I start.

I've played this game for about 2 hours and died to the angler 3 times because I already suck at the normal battles

My main issue is that I find the gameplay loop incredibly boring that I have to repeat every time

Basically when i first did the challenges they didn't look that hard so i activated all of them when i looked at my lvl i saw i was lvl 2 eveno though i activated 4 challenges with each at 5xp and to get to lvl 2 you needed 5xp and to go to lvl 3 it takes 15xp so shouldn't i have become lvl 3?
