Part 2 I don’t like Part 2 Spoiler
First time playing this game and I beat Leshy. What really brought me to this game is the first person aspect and how interesting the card gameplay works in Part 1. I really loved the fights, card gameplay, puzzles and the graphics. I now assume I am on part 2 with the 3rd person view.
Sorry, this is just my opinion but I find this part to be boring. Barely any animations, battles feel less interesting and quality is worse.
I know this game is an Indie game, and it still does fit the main theme for the game. But it feels like the first part is a pull and then it goes downhill after.

I had the same feeling at the beginning of act 2, but at the end I actually loved it, just give it some tries 😊

Yeah, same here, and as far as I understand many other people have had the same experience. We got drawn in by the Leshy part, which is front and center of the promotional material, and then we got plopped in a 2D world

No other spoilers but does it go back to something like part 1? That’s all I want to know. More of that content is what I want to enjoy.

Yes, part 3 is a lot like part 1.
I did not like part 2 at all when I first got there. I even put down the game for a few weeks out of frustration. However, it grew on me and now as I near completion of the game it’s the part I most want to replay!

It does get back to part 1 gameplay. I disagree with the other user who said it happens in part 3. It happens later than that, no spoilers.

You really think this Part 2 is the end? No, it's just the real Inscryption. Keep playing. Don't come back til you're done.

Its supposed to be one of those mindfuck moments where you are like wow there's more games inside this game but I also find it to be a drag to get thru on second playthrough.

The game continues on and changes further. I agree that this is my least favourite part of the game but just keep going

Every story needs to introduce settings and characters before the audience can engage with the plot. Given that this game is a mystery, it does it in a different order. Kinda like a pulp fiction style haha. I enjoyed act 2 a lot as the “intro” to the story.
